Very cool art experience! Sort of like an escape room mixed with weird, wacky art exhibits. The tunnels and hidden rooms were very interesting. Spent about an hour in it, could have probably stayed longer.Felt the price was a little steep for the exhibit and couldn't find any coupon codes. Would recommend as an out of the world experience for those looking for something unique.
It is an absolutely wonderful experience. A little pricey for tickets, but worth it in my opinion. There are so many different rooms with amazing art, puzzles, and interactive objects. We took our 5 year old and he was amazed. There are crawl spaces, tunnels, and hidden areas. Lots of beautiful art. And fun little places to just sit and take it all in. Every room has different lights, sounds, smells, and textures to amuse all the senses. They also have antibacterial stations to clean your hands throughout. Cute little gift shop and bar area with drinks and snacks. They also host after hours events that look amazing as well. We all had a wonderful time and will be back!
Like. What? What did I just experience. This place is. Insane! I live about 3 hours away and saw this on Tiktok and literally planned an entire day trip to Columbus, OH to see this. I have ZERO regrets. This place is bizarre and fantastical in every good way possible. We probably spent about 3 hours there and didn't dive into too many puzzles but get the sense you could spend all DAY there solving puzzles that are all interconnected. It is so fun exploring with no instructions or maps, however you want. Everything is connected and in many ways, including quite a few small tunnels (sometimes hidden) to crawl through! Every room feels so different and unique, I love all the neon lights and mirror sections and of course the favorites I think were the mushroom room and the main large tree room. You MUST COME HERE honestly with any age range I think and worth driving 2 to 4 hours (in fact I already feel like I want to go back)! *Online tickets only for $25/person.
Heard about this place a little while ago. Made the trip to Columbus to do a bit of exploring. The place is in a convenient location. It was definitely one cool experience and I'm glad I can check it off the list. Reading other reviews, I had a mixed opinion. It took us between 45 minutes and 1 hour to go through it. That was checking everything out and doubling back to make sure nothing was missed. Not sure how you could spend much more than an hour in the exhibit. The $25 price seemed a bit much. I feel that maybe $15-$18 would be more fair for the time it takes to view.
Oh. My. Word. This place was the best! Art museum with puzzles, lights, smells, activities, music, quirky statues, illusions, and more. We absolutely loved the art but spent a ton of time figuring out the puzzles inside. There were 2 large ones, and many other smaller ones. Total time spent was 4 hours and we weren't slow! Lots of back and forth to figure out clues once we realized what the puzzles were.I highly recommend this for all those who love puzzles, art, and quirky things. I would NOT recommend for young children, as there are a few areas that have scary art, loud noises, or illusions. There were a few toddlers I saw today who were very overwhelmed.Completely worth the cost and so very enjoyable. Perfect way to spend our Sunday afternoon.
Absolutely astounding place to go for lovers art, imagination, and creativity! There was no wait whatsoever, I came on a Wednesday at 3:00pm. It is a “self guided tour” so it seems like you can take as much time as you like to wander around and look at everything. They have plenty of very clean bathrooms and a cafe but the cafe was closed when I was there. This place is much larger than it looks from the outside, it is filled with dozens of rooms all with a different theme! From my understanding each room is made by a different artist which makes the rooms all the more interesting! I spent about 30-45 min but every second of those minutes there was something interesting and amazing to look at! They also have a gift shop with very cute stuff, I didn’t purchase anything but am tempted to go back to look around and make a purchase at the shop! The gift shop also has separate sections for different artists but I don’t think all artists have merchandise there.
I have nothing bad to say about this place. It was the highlight of our trip. The art and experience is absolutely amazing. Also every staff person we interacted with from the ticket counter worker to the merch sales man and bartender were incredibly professional and polite. If you don’t stop at Otherworld on your trip to Columbus you’re missing out.
Absolutely wonderful! Had so much fun! Great place to take kids, minus a few things that could scare some little ones, but also to go as an adult. Everything is interactive. It's beautiful and we loved it!
What a wonderful place to Wonder. Take your time walking through there's more than meets the eye here. & Don't be afraid to act like a child to pass through the secret passages. Interaction is Key but not alone...This place is magical and a break away from reality. The work and time creating this place is beyond amazing it's really something special to witness.I wish I could have spent more time here on my 34th birthday but I'll be back soon. Thank you to the Creators what a beautiful place. ??
So cool! This is very similar to MeowWolf in Vegas! Only this one is in a back parking lot in Columbus! Great one of a kind experience for families and people of all ages. I absolutely love hunting for the hidden tunnels. Highly recommend.
