We came here for the happy hour and sat at the patio on a Thursday night. Patio is small w only 3 tables but a great spot to enjoy and people watch. We got the edamame , spring rolls , seaweed salad, salmon carpaccio, sushi deluxe.Presentation was nice and fish was fresh. The sushi rice was different from what I am used to but wasn’t bad flavor. Service and food was good. Will come back to try kitchen menu.
love coming here for good sushi! Practically a go to. I tried a new roll last night and wasn't really too impressed... the holy grail roll. I would pass on that next time. Service varies depending on when you go. I have had excellent service, and I have only seen our server a couple times. The water comes out in a big chilled bottle with chilled glasses. It’s pretty cool , If that’s what you’re into… Definitely a place that fits into grand view !
We visited for a friend's birthday dinner, and it was such a lovely experience. The miso soup was very tasty, the spring rolls were delicious, and the sushi was fresh, well-balanced, and my deep-fried roll had the perfect amount of cream cheese for my taste - which meant every bite was rich and delicious. If I'm ever back in Columbus, I would visit for sushi again in a heartbeat.
Decided to try this place based on the reviews. Pretty disappointed in the sushi. I’m a big sushi person, and ordered blue fin tuna. When I was served I could immediately tell it was not fresh and upon tasting it that was confirmed. Tasted like it was days old and just not good. I substituted for a spicy crab roll, same thing, tasted far from fresh. Service was great, and great udon noodles but overall disappointed in sushi quality.
I've only ever had them via Uber Eats and hands down some of the best sushi I've had in Columbus. Order always arrives perfect and is delicious. Hope to done in sometime really soon.
My biggest issue was that it was cold. Lol. J/k But everything was perfection. Food came out fast. Was absolutely amazing. The appetizers could've been the whole meal. The servings were huge.I guess my one REAL gripe was the drink that I ordered was supposed to be fruity and light but it was like kerosene. The flavor was very harsh and I had to force myself to finish it.Ramen was top notch and my bf's sushi trio was everything he needed it to be.We're definitely going back.
Oshio is great! They have a variety of options. Lots of vegetarian options and good drink options. You can also easily customize anything too. I would recommend it. I would say it’s probably one of the better sushi places in Columbus.
Literally the prettiest takeaway I’ve ever gotten. Not pictured is my sushi. The chicken teriyaki isn’t fried or in a thick sauce light you might expect at other places but I actually preferred this.
The wait time was atrocious.I sat at the bar for 10min waiting for someone to take my order for takeout and once I finally ordered, my food was not ready for an hour. I only ordered the Brutus roll, shrimp tempura, and spring rolls. This is ridiculous for place that wasn’t packed. This is my last time coming here.
The food is always fantastic and the employees are very friendly and kind. They have a pretty big selection of sake and a great selection of sushi. I'm never disappointed and always leave full and satisfied. It is a little expensive especially for the specialized rolls but well worth the price. They have vegetarian options (there might be vegan but I forget). I also highly recommend coming during their happy hour! They have really great deals on drinks and basic rolls.
