I ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits, as well as some bacon and breakfast potatoes. Those biscuits and gravy were the best I’ve ever had, the other food was great, and the staff is really nice!

Oh we found another GEM on High St. Fresh, healthy, and tasty. Absolutely worthy of returning to try more on the menu. We had Ginger beer, Village Salad, Chicken and avacado sandwich with wild rice side. Finished up with coffee and a shared pastry. Its a warm and inviting environment. Great for friend get togethers to couples dinners. Northstar Cafe also has a bar to check out with seasonal specialty drinks.

A very classy and elegant environment at an affordable cost. The food was phenomenal! I had the Buddha bowl as well as the dark chocolate truffle cookie along with sweet potato fries! High quality for sure! Huge fan. Glad this was my first experience of food in Columbus, I’ll be back the next time I come through town.

Only had breakfast here, but it was amazing! We did the cowboy, two days in a row. Those scrambled eggs were the best eggs I have ever eaten! We did bacon, and sausage with our meal, that sausage was amazing. We were impressed with the service there as well. Everyone was accommodating, and asking if you needed anything. We will definitely come back our next time in town!

It is ridiculous that in the United States of America a public restaurant will not accept cash as payment credit card or debit card only, shame on you Northstar Café

One of the best vegan burgers I’ve had. Northstar Cafe always deliver quality healthy food with friendly service. Near by parking, metered parking, and parking garages.

Always a favorite but was pleasantly surprised yesterday with the staff and management. After having a wonderful dine in experience, there was a mixup on my to-go order. I called in and spoke to the manager and he went above and beyond to make up for the error (which may not have even been their fault!). I love this place and am excited to report, especially in these current staffing shortages, that they still have wonderful customer service. And amazing food, as always. Will be back tonight!

Went here for brunch with friends from the area. You go in the store and order at the front. you then get a buzzer and take your seat they bring you the food. Service was good. Everything everyone ordered was excellent. The ham and cheese scone was really good. And was about 5$ so not too expensive.I would return.

We popped in here on an anniversary trip in December 2021. The food was excellent - we got chicken and black bean chili, a salad, and the black bean vegan burger, all of which were incredible. One of our orders took a few minutes longer to come out, which didn't bother us, but the manager noticed and came to personally apologize and gave us vouchers for a free meal for each of us. We really appreciated the gesture and his kindness. He stayed and talked with us for a few minutes and wished us a happy anniversary. We came back the next morning for breakfast, and we're equally impressed with their breakfast options. We'd highly recommend this restaurant, as much for the food as the friendly service. Thanks, Northstar!

We ate breakfast at the Short North location. Would have been happier if they opened earlier than 9 AM. Set up cafeteria style where you order at a counter and they bring it to you. The food was good and the quantity was sufficient. There were nice choices for vegetarians (breakfast is usually easy anyways). Waiters were very polite and helpful. Coffee was good and strong, but crazy $ for 2 coffees was $8. Our breakfast totaled $43 for 2 people and we only had eggs and pancakes.
