After having been to Nicola many times for good though pricey dinners, we decided to have our anniversary meal there tonight. It was a TERRIBLE dining experience. My veal was cold and my partners chicken was undercooked. After having sent the chicken back, the second piece was also undercooked. When we told this to John, our waiter he just said, “we tried”. He was indifferent to annoyed about our concerns from the moment we sat down. This is our last visit to this restaurant.

Our last visit was several months ago &, because the service wasn’t up to par, we haven’t been back until this visit. Unfortunately the service was slow, the food portions smaller, and the prices significantly higher than before. Warm, soft bread is usually complimentary at the beginning of the meal. We had to ask for bread, it cost $6.00 and was dry & tasteless. We had to ask for more water, Parmesan cheese, salt & pepper, and a replacement knife. It took quite a while to get these things as our server was no where in sight. A disappointing visit to a restaurant that has been outstanding in the past.

Excellent food. Just a bit over salted on the 2 dishes we had. Would definitely visit again.

My birthday dinner was perfect. On the quiet patio with a greeting from Speranza. Food was outstanding. Real Italian made by Nick!

The usual excellence is enhanced by the avaiability of patio seating - enjoyable dining experience as usual

Great food and service. One of my faves in C-bus

What a wonderful evening. The outdoor seating area was perfect for our dinner. The ravioli was delicious. And, make sure you save room for the limoncello cake!

Nicola is a long-time favorite. Outstanding, authentic Tuscan food with excellent service that makes us feel like family.

Veal Marsala was so good. Really enjoyed it and Thanks Nicola

As always the food was wonderful. It could be served anywhere in Italy. Service a bit sketchy for the first time ever here. Chalk it up to, you know, labor shortage.
