We have visited this restaurant four times since we discovered it. The place it clean and pleasant, and the service is quick. We have never had to wait to be seated, nor had to wait for the food to be served. By the time you finish a glass of wine, your food is at the table. I especially recommend the lamb curry, which is my "go to" dish. Very tender lamb, and you can choose "spicy" without hurting yourself.
Decided to visit this place because my friends kept recommending it to me and I definitely can say I enjoyed the food the flavor was on spot Perfect ambience
I really hate to do this, but I have to leave a bad review. We were charged $1 or $2 more than was posted on the menu for each of the items we ordered. I didn't say anything because I thought maybe I read wrong. Our bill came to $52. He then charged the credit card $57. I know for a fact that I was being overcharged and it was not accidental. Very disappointing New India Restaurant.
I’ve been hearing about this place from several of my Indian friends, so I had to try it. The coconut soup tasted like coconut, as advertised… I ordered the Curry Chicken Extra Spicy and it did not disappoint. And the rice and garlic naan were both wonderful as well. However, the rice bags stored on the floor next to the mop bucket didn’t inspire confidence in food sanitation. Also, the bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while.
I thought it was quite good, but Indian food is not something I have often enough to compare one place to another very well. I will say that the restaurant was very clean, service fast and courteous and the food was very good. This is my second time going and the first time ordering from the menu. I will definitely go back in the future.
The time we visited was a little after lunch so it was quiet. There were lots of pick up though. I would say this is also added to the fave Indian restaurants around our area. Do give them a try we had a great experience! ????
One of the best Indian restaurants in Columbus!
I’ve loved this place for years I haven’t been there in a year because of Covid! I still think the best in Ohio
The food was phenomenal when I received my order everything was packed with so much love and they always add some nice notes hand written notes to my order and the food was outstanding I had chicken tikka masla with the naan. I have to make this a every week meal. A must go you won’t be disappointed!!!
The food was tasteless and it was very very pricey. a 17$ biryani has Absolutely, no taste and 4$ Nan tastes like a frozen food. It's like non Indian tried to cooked it for the first time in their life! And I got samosa with like a lake of oil under it. The girl who taking my order was very rude it's like she didn't want to work there also she was very rude to her mom which I think was the owner of the restaurant. The mom told her wear a mask and she was like no it's not necessary. It was very very uncomfortable to watch the daughter talking to her mom like that. I'm not going there again and I don't recommended until they train their staff to serve the guests better and train the chiefs to cook more authentic Indian food
