Good atmosphere, good service, good food. There were three of us. We each had a gyro with fries. Regular, spicy and spicy chicken.Pro tip. If you get the gyro and fries combo, eat the gyro over the fries. That way all the goodness dropping out falls onto the fries.Your welcome. ?
Best gyro and lentil soup I’ve ever had. This is a very unique, one of a kind, owner-operated Mediterranean restaurant. A must try, if you like Mediterranean food.I asked for my meal to be packaged “to go” in case I ran out of time, and they accommodated my request.
I bring my 9 month pregnant wife here for dinner one day @ 6pm and we’re told they are done serving because they have a event coming in…. Didn’t offer us anything just “sorry come back another time” this was our first time trying this place and will definitely be the last.
I can't tell you how many times I have driven by and thought hmm that sounds good. Finally took the plunge and gave it a go! The food was so good! Served hot and decently priced. Ordered the veggie dinner, at first I thought the serving size was a little small but between the hummus and pickled veggies it was more than enough, good value for $16. I had a bite of the lamb and oh my was it tender and juicy. So tasty! A couple things that I would recommend for improvement. 1. The walls were very dirty, they need to be washed. That was the reason why I'm only giving a 4 out of 5 stars. 2. The menu is digital, at least I believe that is what the deal was, we didn't get a menu and had to struggle to get it to pop up via the QR code (code was ripped on the table). Another table came in and they were giving paper menus (I'm not old but I do like a menu..what if someone didn't have a smart phone or internet access?). Overall I was impressed with the food. One of the kids/servers was great, he was very attentive and asking if we needed anything. I did not catch his name. Hamilton Rd has A LOT of construction going on making the area busy and a little difficult to get in and out of, luckily there is a service road that runs behind the business and has light access. Parking can be a little tight but plenty of parking. Overall, check it out!
Nazareth checks all the boxes for me: Excellent food, friendly staff, fair prices and a comfortable atmosphere.Best food I’ve had since moving to Columbus. Highly recommend the gyro.
Got the chicken gyro, Greek salad and fries. Salad was ok but over dressed. Gryo was very dry with no flavor. Frys were ok but overcooked. Will not return.
Finally visited this restaurant after years of admiring from afar. Menu has more to choose from than expected and they seemed quite willing to customize as desired. I was surprisingly disappointed at the Lamb Shish Kabob that had maybe 3 thin slices of peppers and 1 or 2 thin slices of onion. The lamb was very good and really liked the homemade hot sauce they provided. My son loved his order of lamb on rice. The baklava was excellent!
The food is always good. Get fries for sure. The owner is a gem, and everyone who works there is warm, friendly, loves to laugh and smile. Plus, the music is awesome. Really great Mediterranean cuisine.
Service was ok girl was new and was the only one working dinning room she did a decent job for the situation. Wasn't too busy.
Always a great stop! Phenomenal service, atmosphere, and food. Huge portions, especially for the more-than-fair prices, but if you don’t get grape leaves and baklava with your meal you’re not doing it right. Thanks, Nazareth
