I ordered 3 chicken and fried rice entrees online and the extra broccoli was not included! I called and was told that I could come back and get the broccoli or receive a 10% discount! I responded that I would bring the orders back and since the kids already ate 1, the cook re-prepared 2 and stuffed the containers! Another strange thing is that I’m pretty sure that the food that I gave the cashier was re-cooked; she took it into the kitchen to her “boss” and I never saw her throw the food away! One and done! Quite frankly, this restaurant is another hole in the wall that skims on the ingredients.
Got a steak chicken and shrimp bowl and a chicken bowl …. Rice isn’t fried rice… it’s brown rice, yum yum sauce not to par at all…. veggies are drowning in salt. I got a scoop of cabbage on bowl … it was meh didn’t ask for it. Chicken was nasty, steak nasty, shrimp nasty….
I love this hibachi place. Out of all the hibachi restaurants I have tried this is definitely the #1 I have ever tried. I recommend all of my friends and coworkers to try just to prove that this place is better than any other hibachi place. And when they try it they fall in love. I definitely appreciate the great customer service and great food.
Wonderful customer service!!! Steak is amazing!!! Great customer service. The lady at the front desk is super awesome! The food was outstanding. The steak was super awesome and cooked perfectly. Great environments and you can dine in as well even during the Covid crisis.
First time trying this place. Ordered steak and chicken hibachi with cabbage and bean sprouts. It was delicious! Will definitely order again!
Seriously this place is clean, professional, Chelsea at the front desk is so patient, friendly, welcoming and the food is soooo so good. Extremely fresh, nice and hot when you pick up and just delicious. Listen, I write reviews and I read them and if your like me, you’re any to know the truth. The truth is, you WILL NOT be dissatisfied at all. This is my second day in a row coming to eat and it WONT be my last. Thank you for coming to downtown. The BEST spot to eat at by far!
I don’t write reviews much but these people were awesome. Very considerate, very kind, and even gave me extra food. I always am ready to spend money with Hibachi places, especially in a downtown area, but this was also affordable. Worth every penny and would suggest anyone in town or out of town to enjoy some amazing food.
Mr. Hibachi is one of my favorite places for lunch in downtown Columbus. They are consistent with the quality of food and are so nice. The owner was speaking to me yesterday and her story of where she was and where she came from and how blessed she feels now. That was touching and I was happy she shared it with me. Anyway, great food, great folks. You have to try it for yourself! ?

True hibachi style! The grilled chopped steak tasted fresh and juicy and the stirred fried rice was authentic. They provided kind of spicy mayo sauce (It's called Yum Yum sauce at this place) as the base sauce and it was surely good although my favorite one is classic white mustard sauce. I also ordered egg yolk sauce as a side and this one tasted really unique and great! It's hard to describe it but the sauce was like a sticky ?? souffle pancake or egg tart initially in the mouth but overall closer to a greasy paste sauce that has prominent taste of egg yolk. At a glance, I thought it's an egg side dish, not a sauce. Anyway, if they added more kinds of sauces, that would be the most fantastic!
