My mom and I both loved their fried chicken and side dishes. The greens were awesome along with the fried okra. And the service was great. Some of the best fried chicken in the city.

What an Awesome experience at Bud's Dairy Complex ..Modern Southern Table has a Very good & helpful staff and EXCELLENT fried chicken , good & tender collards , My Grandbabies LOVED the Kool-aid, Simply Delicious !! I'll be sure to tell South Bend Indiana all about you ..Thanks for GREAT SERVICE ?
The food was fresh, hot, and flavorful! The ladies were sweet, professional, and definitely know what they're doing. Excited to go back and try something else on the menu
First time at Budd Dairy Food Hall. It was pretty cool. Modern Southern Table isn't bad, but its definitely not on my top 5. Lost a ton of point for the greens, macaroni, and fried chicken. The greens were sweet, and my chicken was dried out. The fried cat fish my husband had was REALLY good though...and that says a lot because I don’t eat cat fish. Their fried okra was also a hit. There's so many nice little jewels in the city. I'm eager to get out and find them.
Catfish is okay. Maybe I went on an off day, but entirely too salty for my taste.Fried chicken great. Nice and golden brown and not over season or too greasy.Mac & cheese is okay. I went there April 9th and have to tell you, this is some of the best fried chicken I've had. I got 2 sides Mac & Cheese and collards, As guy Fieri would say they were some righteous collards. Definitely will returning. The staff was just great as well.

Really good southern food, the fried catfish was light, crispy and perfectly seasoned. I also really liked the okra, potatoes, and cornbread. The red rice was good, a little dry. I thought the greens were fine but there was a lot of liquid,, no smoked turkey and I thought they could use a bit more seasoning. Don't get me wrong, I def cleaned my plate and I'm looking forward to my leftovers tomorrow. The price of the sides was a little high at $5.99 each. I would likely order from here again!
The Joe Joes potatoes, fish, corn pudding --well everything is really good. The most outstanding product is their customer service. Good customer service is unfortunately rare these days, but Modern Southern Table is EXCELLENT! I would recommend companies and organizations to use their catering service as well as stop by Bud Dairy and check them out when you don't feel like cooking. Just outstanding!
