I have been planning a trip to Min Ga based on recommendations for a while now and I can officially say the wait was worth it. The service is next to none: the staff is willing to help and explain with any questions and the service was bubbly and warm. I got the octopus somyun and it was an excellent combination of flavors and spices. The octopus was cooked well, which is difficult to do (I have been burned by overcooked octopus many times, but this was excellent), the stir fry was more than just a supplement, and the somyun was incredible too. I’ve never traveled to Korea but from what I’ve heard this is the most authentic and best tasting option for Korean food in the Columbus area. I cannot overstate the positivity of my experience and will definitely be back with friends.

I drove an hour away from home to reach this place and it was well worth the anticipation! Everything was authentic and reminded me of my childhood (at a lot of Korean food as a kid) my friend and I got more than enough food, and we both couldn’t believe how good it all was! You know it’s a good place to eat when every table is full within 10 minutes of the restaurant opening! Also, did I mention it’s a woman owned company!?!?!?

This place has some great tasting food, and very fast service. I ordered the black bean noodles to go and it was ready super fast! The food was not expensive at all and definitely tasted authentic. I only gave four stars because the food was not hot but still warm when I received it, it will definitely be hot if you dine in and not take out. Give this place a try, I’ll be back.

Very good food, But the only thing I don’t like is they force you to tip them $20 up. I have no problem giving $20 but if they give you attitude just because they think you won’t give them $20 tip. This kind of treats will decrease your customers. It just said because you serve a good food. But people come to a restaurant eat and relax sometimes not to get harass over a tip amount.2 years ago I don’t remember this place being like this.

Many has commented Min-Ga as the best Korean restaurant in Columbus. While I haven't tried them all, I must say I believe the reviews!Min-Ga is located at a strip mall with lots of parking spots up front and there are plenty of seatings inside with 2 rooms. Inside, we were ushered to a table of our choice while the "ajumma" pulled the table further from another table and directed me to seat in a space that would provide better social distancing. This is top attention to customers safety I would say!To the good stuff. We got the Gamja Tang, Pork neck-bone spicy soup and it was melt in your mouth goodness of meat and tendons, with a delicious nutty and spicy broth. So so good in this cold weather. It's $32. For two people but would easily feed a family of 2 faults and 2 children or 3-4 adults with 1 oe 2 more sides. The other dish we ordered was the Seafood pancake with scallion and assorted seafood. This was good but not blow away good as the gamja tang. Dough was a thicker type rather than a thin crispy type with a little char. So missing these crispyness and char took a little excitement away. But the flavor and the dish is still delicious! And did I mention it's HUGE!? It's like a costco size pizza big! OK maybe a little smaller but it's HUGE!! 10" at least.

Got the Kalbi box and every part of it was great. Came with miso soup and banchan which were both very good. Nice staff and reasonable prices. Hope to be back soon!

Terrific Korean food. Mackerel, savory pancakes, and interesting soups are some of the highlights. We have not had a bad dish here. Small dining room and friendly staff.

Food is good, the ladies that work there use a highlighter on the “tips” part of the receipt. I was just there to pick up a takeout order but felt like I was being pressured pretty hard.Love to support local business but first time been pressured to tip on a takeout order like this.

Bad service, some food is good but some don’t. They are give be the bowl just clean , not dry , still have a lot water inside. And when I give them 10% for tip because of the service. They come over and ask me need give them 20% or more for tip because that’s them rule. Never see that before . Never come back!

I have been a regular here for years. I always visit with or recommend this place to family and friends. This last visit I came with two friends of mine. We are all young adults, ages roughly 18-19. When we finished paying for our food the lady we gave the money to claimed that the tip we gave was not enough and hassled us for a tip. We would have given a larger tip to begin with but we didn't have a lot of cash with us. I told the lady I'm sorry we don't have a lot of cash so I'll pay with card. I asked if she could do 10% but she said that the regular was 15% so she would charge 15%. A key point to highlight would be that she did not ask for 15% she told me that it would be 15%. At this point I'm over it so go ahead and pay the 15%. It's really disappointing that she was so rude because I love this place but I don't think I'll be back nor will I ever bring back friends/family. I hope the $6.75 tip was worth it because it's the last cent you'll get from me or anyone I know. If your looking for a good korean place to eat at this is not the restaurant.?
