Good vibes! The scotch egg is so good! I like this place since it has pool and overall just feels chill.
The lobster bisque was the soup of the day when I came in for lunch and it was delicious! The bartender, Cale was a delight with the best playlist! This Short North staple is one of my favorite spots.
Came in looking for a t-shirt and found so much more. Mac's staff and atmosphere were incredible - helpful and attentive. Great spot to grab a drink.
Pros:Has changed slightly over the years, mostly for the better it seems. One thing that hasn't is their Scotch egg. Having a Scotch egg there is a tradition for me.Great place for some drinks and food. Also a fun bar that is still connected to the one next door (go to the back by the restrooms).Cons:We tried the marrow sometime in 2019 and it was mostly bone. We haven't tried it again so can't say much with such a small sample size.Overall, a place you should check out if you have not yet.
I went here with my wife and a friend. Our bartender was comical and personable. When I asked to watch the NASCAR preseason race, he put it on after a quick joke. Felt like I've been there many times before
It fit the bill in terms of what we were looking for. Decent food and lots of drink options but the main draw for us was the kitchen open later than anything else nearby... midnight!
Oh man these portions! And the condiments! I love dipping. Service is always a win too.
The wait staff were friendly and helpful at recommending a tasty ale. The Bangers and Mash with Eggs was spot on -- amazing comfort food. When I visit Columbus and the Short North, I make a point of coming here.
Spicy and flavorful chilli with a good beer is just the thing you need! But, it is super busy so it may take a few minutes to be served. Relax and just have a good time.
