Noticing a whole lot of one star reviews for this place lately. Several people have left reviews alleging that the restaurant pads their credit card charges by adding money in the tips when closing out the credit card charges for the evening. This is absolutely a crime and should be reported. Notify your credit card company and they will investigate them for fraud. The owner would do well to pay attention to how the staff is running this location. My awful experience occurred on 6/23/22. My burrito had a chewed up lime in it. When I notified the manager, she responded as if it was an inconvenience to bother her with it, debated me momentarily, but had the kitchen replace it. The proper response for a manager is to simply apologize, refund my money and then make me another. Like, not apologizing is seemingly a point of pride for this particular location. The manager claimed that the chewed up lime must have happened during prep. As if that's a reasonable excuse. The only place for a lime that has been partially eaten is the trash. The lime getting anywhere near a prep table is out of the question. After I picked up the replacement burrito, the manager then ridiculed the situation in Spanish to the staff as I walked away - not knowing I'm fluent in Spanish. At that point, I simply left the burrito on the table and left. $12 or whatever I spent is a small price to pay for not getting food poisoning. Especially right after a pandemic has barely passed. This restaurant has achieved a level of success where they know a bad review won't affect their business. The arrogance on display is legendary. It's a shame.
Terrible service. I ordered online, chicken tacos, no onions. Charizo taco, no onions. Cheese quesadilla. We get home after picking it up and it is all wrong. Loaded with onions and the quesadilla was nothing we had seen before. We eat at one of the 2 locations frequently. I called the store, I explain I need to have my order made again. She starts arguing with me about my order telling me she checked it. I argue with this woman for five minutes. To the point that she is telling me I don't know how to order online properly. So after years of eating at your locations I am done. And they didn't even refund my money.
While visiting town I DoorDashed from this location because I wasn’t feeling like going out. Tacos are good, not the best I’ve had but they did calmed the craving for tacos lol. I ordered a side of “nopal” (cactus leaf), it costed me $1.25 for a super small, cold and old soggy cactus leaf, side of beans were okay, your typical can beans. I don’t think I am ordering from this location again. If you give it a try, I’d say try their tacos and that’s about it……
If you have nothing nice to say… don’t say nothin’ at all. I only leave five star reviews. If I could, I would rate this place much higher.Start with the staff; friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned about your experience.Atmosphere is casual but super cool. I Love what appears to be handcrafted furniture. Very clean! The food is beyond ample, delicious, authentic, with a fantastic selection. Pictured is a selection of Tortas, al pastor and brisket. Huge! No need for dinnerEverything was reasonably priced. I left feeling I got more than what I spent.Oh… and get the churros, you’ll thank me!
5 stars for the food - had the Taco al Pastor, it was great.0 stars for the charge - bill was $16.44, I tipped roughly 10% for takeout, $1.56 for a total of $18.00. Admittedly not much of a tip - apparently they thought so, too. My credit card was charged $21.00 - tip must have been adjusted to $4.56.
Finally got some great tacos al pastor in the States! Also had delicious agua de Jamaica. Will definitely go back if ever in the area again.
Good street tacos. They’re very meaty which is nice. The queso with chips is good - thinner queso than some other places. Is a wait but worth it.
So just ordered a Agua de mineral, clearly on the menu it costs $2, I was charged $5. I addressed it to the lady and she said prices have gone up. Which is understandable but if you change your prices make sure you change your menu. Not a Karen, just another Mexican-American from Texas trying to figure out how this happened to me by my own people.

Great Mexican food at a great price. The Al Pastor is wonderful. They used to have an awesome pickled onion/habanero salsa that was a great addition to all of their dishes. I hope they bring that back.
