service is always great! everything is so customizable and the weekly rotating taco definitely keeps things interesting for those who frequent this place. bar options are extensive, and margaritas are unmatched!
Service is very promoted. Even though they are busy. The food is good. I had the baritone bowl with fish. The greens were quite nice. Tasted like cabbage and other greens, slight taste of cilantro. Very nice. The sauce was a bit spicy. But if added to the greens along with the avocado, very very nice. Spicy but muted. I enjoyed it. I hope you do to.
Fun joint. Lots of taco selections and they're tasty. One or two will do it. Just outside German Village so close to other joints if you wanna hop around. Some outside searing and roll up doors when weather is nice. Had a burrito bowl and it was tasty. Prices are in line. Parking is ok, just be patient and willing to walk a little. Recommended.
Taco Tuesday! Very nice deal. Salsa was good, guac was made fresh for us on order. Love the serve-yourself chips. Brilliant idea. Had carnitas LC truck style (protein w onions and cilantro) shrimp and chicken tinga. All very good. Wife had brisket, carne asada and Hong Kong Phooey (chicken w pineapple salsa). She loved 'em. Planning on going back with my daughter and her fam next Tuesday. Staff were cool. Game day so things were hoppin but they stayed on top of it.
We used to live close to another Local Cantina and had our weekly date nights there. We are always a fan of the food, the beer selection, and the house made margaritas.This Local Cantina shares those good things but has pretty consistently slow service. However, the people are friendly and it's in a great location, so we'll still hit it up from time to time. They did mess up my order this time but that isn't the norm and they fixed it quickly.On the whole, if you're in the mood for some chips and salsa, a few good tacos, and a beer, maybe a little outdoor seating and fresh air, Local Cantina is a great stop at any of their locations.
A chip and salsa station? Genius. The menu offers a lot of variety, but I went for tacos as it was their Taco Tuesday special. Happy hour specials are abundant and welcomed. The food was really quite good, and even though the place was packed, the service team was on point and did a really great job keeping everyone's glasses and belly's full. Brisket tacos with tequila and Sprite is going to be a Tuesday regular for me here now.
Delicious Mexican food! They as a sauce there I’ve never had called “baby spice” it was a green sauce with a little sweet heat kick. Also have a self serve chips and salsa bar so you can pig out on chips and salsa and never run out. Food was delicious, I highly recommend the Mexican Street Corn.

Ordered a group order with 4 quesos, and the containers were filled less than 1/3 full. When I called the store about it they said that they had changed the size of the containers so it looked like less (but they look the same size as they always have). I really like Local, but have had much better customer service at other locations.
Pretty cool spot. Real cozy, friendly staff. Paying 4-6 dollars for a singular taco kinda wild, but I mean it's expected with the area and type of establishment. Big beer selection and my girl said her margarita was strong so that's always a plus. The guacamole was especially delicious, and the food didn't take long to get to our table either. I checked it out cuz they got elote. I'll probably be back cuz that was real yummy as well.
