I didn't wanna leave it was such a nice experience .they have so much to offer. I loved the baked bread isle! They have a loong buffet full of food options and it all looked so delicious. They also have so many drinks and fresh desserts. Ofc you come here to experience and appreciate and uplift another culture so don't expect many American dishes ! Go here you will not regret it. I wish more stores were like this. Let alone the employees were all so nice and eager to help with any questions I had.
One of the best stores in Columbus. love the meat that the butchers provide as well. Always go here before anywhere to show. big savior to my family holidays too
Great huge Mexican Tienda. Large cafeteria style Mexican food by the pound. Tamales. Great fresh herbs. Assorted seafood salads. Large beer cave and bar.. Huge clean Mexican butcher counter. Great place to buy shrimp and fresh seafood. Large cheese counter. Large bakery. Assorted Mexican and Latin American staple foods alongside traditional groceries. Would recommend for a cleaner experience than La Michoacana.
La Plaza Tapatia was amazing they have an amazing meat market and Spanish restaurant and bakery! They also have a Candy Land store with all kinds of candy! Mostly Hispanic and Korean can't and of course American ?You would be impressed for sure!
highly recommend for delicious tamales and rice! We will be back to try out more food from the restaurant area!?
sorry but there's something that people need to know. Wednesday I call to make a order of some food total was $257 dls. This was for my family and friends for the 31st. But some of my family have covid so I call next day and trying cancel the order. they told me If I cancel the order they have to keep the 50% of what I put down to make the order. I mean that's a lot money to keep and also they not even making the food yet when I call. anyway. I understand maybe is a policy of the place. But they should said that any time people order stuff. so I end up getting that part of the money they won't gimme on food BARBACOA DE RES. ? and when I wen to pick it up they don't gimme all. I ask them why ? They said the barbacoa just got up at $9.99 when the lady told me was $8.99 they have the picture in the wall for $8.99. lol. I don't think this is right. so careful when you order there. they would keep 50% of your money even if you cancel the order next day lol. I will never come back there. and I will make sure every community latina knows about this place !
Place has a huge variety of of everything I mean huge place massive meat selection, fruits that you don't see in Kroger. Awesome store and the got like a restaurant that wraps around inside it's pretty cool.
I placed an order several days in advance just so they can tell me the day of that they “forgot”and so it was going to be 1 1/2 hours wait time for my holiday order. I’m literally in tears rn! Still waiting… almost two hours.**UPDATE**Once I received my order the department manager did apologize and made sure I received the complete order. They also gave us some type of gelatin dessert on the house.I understand that it gets busy with the holidays which is why customers call ahead. The food is wonderful and otherwise have no issue other than they need better management & communication. ?
I liked it .Mostly Mexican and Peruvian foods. They Have a variety of cooked and uncooked food.If you are in the area try it.
Store is very clean, exceptional for an internationally oriented store, well stocked, and prices are reasonable to well below average. This store would be worth 5 stars but I'm docking it one for two reasons. First, many of the employees I encountered did not understand English well, the store serves a lot of international customers who speak Spanish and that is the native language of most of the staff. Second, I was disappointed when I attempted to buy 1/4 of a pound of scallops. The guy kept asking if I said 4 pounds, I replied no, ONE Fourth then brought out a calculator and typed 0.25 to try to make it clear that is what I want. The guy acted bewildered. A second employee told me that they simply will not sell less than one pound. That is ironic. I was able to buy 1/2 pound of chicken stir fry from another employee. I think someone did not know the "seat of their pants" from a hole in the ground.
