Years ago there was a small French pastry place in our hometown. I have been lamenting the loss of it since they went out of business. Then, a friend brought me here and my lamentations stopped. The food is amazing and the pastries sublime. I am sure that there is some magic that happens in the kitchen when they prepare the oatmeal. Best I have ever had. Well worth the drive from Cincinnati! This is now the place I think of when I long for good French pastries from kind, amazing people.

A bit disappointed after wanting to go when I saw how highly rated this place was. Hubs and I wanted pastries and coffee so decided to try this out. Had lots of varieties of baked goods and all looked really delicious. We got 4 different pastries, brioche bun, cherry pinwheel, triple berry tart and the Le Chatelaine mousse cake. We both enjoyed the berry tart (would be even better if puff pastry) and most of all, the cherry pinwheel. I was super disappointed with the mousse cake cause that was just a dry slice of chocolate cake. The brioche was okay, not exceptional. We ordered cafe au lait and I guess cause we asked for different beans, they made us a whole mug each...if we knew, we'd just order two of the same or a different kind of coffee lol.We would still return though to try out the croissants and the hot food menus - the quiches looked good.

A little land of France with all its culinary delight- at least the name says so, lol! I stopped by for a quick breakfast. The regular coffee was just ok. My mum took a ‘Darjeeling Tea’, and omg that’s horrible! I mean they don’t k ow what’s Darjeeling tea is, so technically I’m not sure if we should bland them or not ( I was born, and bright up in Calcutta, and Darjeeling tea is in my vain). They was just an ordinary English tea - no, an overpriced English breakfast tea! The croissant was terrific! I loved that. The chocolate layered pastry was pretty decent. They had their counters filled with many delightful, mouth watering baked goodies and treats, I would definitely go back to taste at least some of them.

Great little quick service spot in Upper Arlington. Reminds me of La Madeline, a lot. I had the cinnamon raisin croissant and a cup of tea. They use the higher end Harney and Sons and have a really good assortment to choose from. Service is good and I didn’t feel rushed in making a decision (I can be a little indecisive when things look so good). Patio is perfect on a pretty day.

Amazing experience! Very unique form of ordering, the food is fantastic. Their bakery section is absolutely fantastic! Their menu is reasonably priced with great options. We will definitely be going back

Went this morning and the pastries from the bakery were delicious. However, I will never go back here as I watched the manager/owner verbally abuse his staff and then several customers. He was so unbelievably rude and it was disgusting to witness. There are plenty of other great bakeries in Columbus that are run by good human beings that I’d rather support.

Very disappointing experience. Ordered a soup with bread - didn’t taste home made at all. Bread was stale, probably an old one they decided to serve with the soup rather than throwing it out. The desserts taste completely generic; I don’t believe any of the baked goods are “home made” I think just like Panera and similar, they just warm up/bake frozen stuff made in a central kitchen (it’s a chain.) I can honestly say that there’s nothing authentically French about the food or the environment; it’s completely generic American food with an expensive price tag - if you were to taste their baked goods next to Panera’s or Whole Foods, you wouldn’t tell a difference. Will not be back

Loved the ambience , interiors , set up and the way you place your order. The spinach omelette was average . The French onion soup portion was good but not the best taste . Beef bourguignon.- beef pieces ,veggies all had varying temperatures - lukewarm, room temperature, hot .. It gave me a feel that food was not fresh and just warmed .Food was served in less than 10 minutes. May be a wrong choice of restaurant !

Randomly stopped by this place. Unique way to order food and, nice service, and more importantly great food.

Met a colleague for coffee and ended up staying until close - warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for a casual afternoon. The chocolate croissants are a must-try, best I’ve ever had!
