We tried this place for the 1st time this weekend and were very disappointed. My ribs were good and the salad dressing was good and that was about it! My family got French Dip sandwiches and the fish and chips all of which tasted like they had been reheated a few times so the textures were all wrong. Some parts of the meat and cheese on the sandwich was burnt and so hard it was inedible. The description (and price!) for the French Dip sounded really good and special--there was nothing special about this sandwich; the meat was dry and flavorless. Even the fries were not good--not crispy AT ALL and their color looked like they have not changed their fryer oil in a while. Very poor quality food for what the bill came out to. I went to Knotty Pine Brewing Company after meeting the owner Jay fishing the Conneaut Creek so I thought I would visit.
What a great neighborhood spot! The food is consistent, delicious and simple. Its always nice when restaurants don't try to over complicate things and stick to the classics. Knotty Pine brewing offers both (trendy and Classic). Great atmosphere, laid back and an awesome patio. The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend the walleye sandwich as well the soft pretzels to start. My wife and I will be back soon!
Brisket French dip sandwich is delicious. Also enjoyed the pork nachos and fries. Parking can be tricky but it's worth hunting for a spot.
Dark haired bartender decided to tend to everyone else who already had drinks, and ignored us. After about 20 min, we realized that everyone else at the bar had been served, so we thought she'd finally get to us...but NO. She starts doing DISHES. Right in front of us. No service, not even a water for 23 minutes. We left and won't be back...

We ordered this on Uber Eats. Our food was packaged very meticulously for travel . We had the Philly Brisket sandwich and blackened salmon. Really outstanding !
Great food!Had the pepperoni pizza, steak and cheese (I think they threw in fries for free which were really good too!) and a side order of vegetables. Usually I'm not impressed ordering any type of vegetables on the road as a truck driver but it was asparagus which I love and it was cooked perfectly. Thanks for the nice hot meal ?
Went for a birthday celebration on Monday night. Steaks were delicious, Knotty Thyme cocktail was refreshing, and the birthday boy enjoyed all the beers he tried. Wait staff was attentive and had wonderful sense of humor.
We love Knotty Pine! So much so that we come here weekly. The food is delicious, the staff is so much fun and you can't beat the brunch specials. $2 mimosas? Yes, please! Also, $5 Bloody Mary's if that's more your speed. I recently learned during Dry January that they have several non alcoholic options in wine and beer as well which was a nice surprise.
