Look here, this place is amazing!! The food is excellent and we had some bomb Margaritas ☺️ Snow Crab, Shrimp - so much that the next day we had shrimp and grits at home. Calamari and Hush puppies, red potatoes, sausage and corn. Wow! Best dinner I've had in a long time. Customer service was great.Thank you guys for a wonderful evening ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice casual atmosphere, great staff and service, standard pricing for market seafood. Portions not aligned with prices. Other places aren't worried about throwing in extra corn and potatoes. Food is good, but not well seasoned as you'd get coastal or down south. The handwashing station is a plus but it's awkwardly placed where everyone walks through. Recommend visiting on Valentine's Day, they have a special that's perfect for date night. Overall, they're good but there are tastier options with better portions for the price if you shop around.
best meal I’ve had in CBUS. so so so so freaking good!!!!! I had never had a boil before, and my mind was blown. The spice was so great, and delicious I could not stop saying how much I loved it while eating it, and then told everyone I talked to about it the next day! Def make a stop here if youre in Columbus!
I’ve been to a couple seafood boil places and this place definitely could have done better. Service and atmosphere was great, but this place did not have the qualities that a traditional seafood boil restaurant would have.Other places have their eggs, sausages, and corn included with the seafood that you choose (whether it’s shrimp or crab). I didn’t understand why each piece of these servings were an additional $1 with the meal. The food options were already extremely pricey but yet we still had to pay additional for other sides that would normally be included with the meal.Next, the seafood boil places that I’ve been to has a silver pan or giant plate for us to dump the seafood out on to so that we can eat it properly. We asked for plates here and they gave us paper plates that would’ve absorbed all of the sauces. I noticed all the other dine in customers also had plastic trays. With our food still being in a plastic bag, it made it that much harder to eat. Seafood boil is definitely messy which is part of the experience, but it should not have to be this difficult with the sauces around the bag getting everywhere.Although the food and service was great, we’re not coming back due to better offerings elsewhere.
The food is absolutely amazing- their seasoning- I am telling you! So, so good. Get it ALL and get the Kai’s seasoning with garlic butter and enjoy!! You won’t regret any of it!
Amazing! Incredible food, great service!
Amazing quality food! We just moved here from the south and it definitely reminds me of the freshness you get living near the coast. 100% going back!
A truly delicious seafood spot. The Cajun seasoning for the boil is a must as well as a spicy mango margarita. The seafood is very good quality. The sides; potatoes, corn ,sausage are also tasty and not just a boring add on. They have multiple spice levels. I had the medium and it added a nice kick with out being overwhelming. I will definitely be back. The servicewas friendly and fast. I highly recommend a stop in if you love seafood.
We love Kai's! I've had crab boils in numerous places including New Orleans and Maryland and Kai's has them beat. Surprisingly! Their cajun seasoning is my favorite. It is oretty expensive but in my opinion it's definitely worth it. I ordered Dungeness crab and shrimp. I also tried a blue crab, which ive never had before. It was ok but the rest was awesome!
10/10 recommend !!! Everything was amazing !!!!! Food was delicious, the Cajun was SO GOOD (hot was perfect level of heat)!! Fast and clean. Claire was our waitress and so sweet and delightful; and recommended the PERFECT meal! Greeting staff was smiling, nice and friendly !!! All of the staff were great, cook did a great job and manager also went around and checked on everyone ! Seriously can’t wait to go back! Over the moon about how amazing this place was!
