This restaurant was close to our hotel and easy to find. At first, wasn't sure if we were in the Redlands Grill or J Alexander's...guess by the title it changed recently. We had what I thought a light lunch, but the price said it should have been a dinner! Good food and our server Chad S. was outstanding. He made sure we understood the menu and made suggestions which was nice. He came by several times during the meal to check with us. It was 'loud' with music in the background, plus the conversations were added into that. Could have been a little quieter for my taste.

The steak entrée and the pork tenderloin entrée were both cooked perfectly, with the sauce for the pork tenderloin being particularly sweet yet spicy for an amazing profile. The deviled eggs with candied bacon, though, were absolutely heavenly ?

This rating is not towards the establishment because if I were to rate this restaurant as a whole it would definitely get five stars but instead it’s for the service which I think is equally important. I have been going to this restaurant for years, even before it was called Redlands grill and I come every year for my birthday. Today we were celebrating my birthday (big 30). I am 8 months pregnant (due in 3 weeks) and had a not so stellar birthday to begin with. Despite all the unfortunate events that unraveled today plus my extremely stressful and demanding job in health care I was looking forward to dining at my favorite restaurant (Redlands ?) my server Robyn I could tell didn’t really care for us too much. Every year I receive a complimentary dessert after dinner for my birthday. We made it known to our server that it was my birthday. My husband voiced it multiple times to our server and she did not ONCE acknowledge it. We even said it while she asked if we wanted dessert. The fact that she went the extra distance to not even say “oh happy birthday!” Let’s me know she didn’t want to acknowledge it because she didn’t want to give me my comp dessert for my special day. I used to work in the service industry way back when so I get it. She probably thought I look really young and I have more tattoos on my body than the normal person and assumed we wouldn’t be good tippers. I always tip 20 percent and still did even though she went out of her way to ignore my husbands multiple birthday comments and intentionally not give me my free dessert. The manager made it right which I appreciated but it still kinda stung a little bit just because a little kindness today would have really made a difference considering how awful my day was already going. I will be making sure to request to never get Robyn again as a server but just thought I’d leave this here for anyone who goes to restaurants for not just the food, but the experience as well.

What sold this place was the waiter. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and flavors. We order the steak rolls which were much tastier than they appeared. The chimicurri sauce really packed flower and paired well with the dish. For my entree I ordered the Steak Maui and it was very well cool and prepared. You can definitely taste the marinade and it was very tender. I will say if you're in the mood for a Steak though I'd avoid this dish. While it was good it doesn't have that traditionally meat Steak flavor. I like sweat but it was a bit too sweet for me for meat. Again, it was a very good dish but I'm a Steak lover. I had The 614 for a cocktail and that was very good. Very smooth. And balanced the whiskey with other taste in a pleasing way for someone who wants something dark but not a Manhattan-esque drink. I definitely think this place would do well with adding more green items for sides for anyone trying to balance their meals aside from broccoli and asparagus. I'll definitely go again and try the Rattle Snake pasta. He really sold that dish.

Everything here is great. From steaks, seafood, to dessert, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Stopped in for dinner. We didn’t have reservations and they were great about getting us a seat. We both had large salads and shared a side of the Mac and cheese. The grilled chicken salad was giant and really good! It was fresh and I couldn’t finish all of it. My husband had the tuna salad and it was really good and a good portion. We shared the side of Mac and cheese just to try it and it was a hit! Highly recommend trying it if you get a chance. The Mac and cheese side is a good portion and really flavorful. We had a bottle of wine and really enjoyed our dinner. Prices are in line with a high end restaurant. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I live over an hour away from the closest Redlands Grill. I’ve been here twice as of today and I will be coming back more often! The first time was great, but the second time it was phenomenal! The food and service was all great! Especially our waiter Kraig with a K in Columbus, Ohio on Vantage Drive. He was great from start to finish!! Best service I’ve had in a long long time! Will be back a lot more.

Went there for lunch. The place was packed, but the service was excellent so was the food. We tried the deviled eggs - world class. Seafood and steak dishes were all done to perfection.

Anniversary night out.Opening with generous martinis (each order came with a free refill mini jug) and a delicious spinach and cheese bid. My kababa was perfectly cooked and served with squash and rice.It was a great night out. Even though it was not packed, it was noisier than I would prefer (getting to be a bit of an old man at time). I had requested a more isolated table for the anniversary and they were as attentive as they could be.I imagine I will add to the date night list. Their promo for brunch really peaked my interest.

Sunday brunch; better-than-average, for sure. I had eggs benedict. I'm not going to say it was "perfect," the eggs were slightly over-done, but that doesn't mean it wasn't delicious. It was really good. Hollandaise sauce was smooth, fresh and bright-tasting. The surprise of the meal was really the potatoes, which were surprisingly good. All in all, a really good meal at a pretty fair price. The traditional benedict was somewhere in the $13-15 range, so sure, it's not a $6.00 breakfast, but the service, food quality and atmosphere is worth the extra.
