Very inconsistent meal. Chicken was spicy, well-seasoned, and well cooked. Mac n cheese was… strange? The cheese sauce doesn’t taste like real cheese or have a lot of cheese flavor. I thought the rice and beans were flavorless, but I added salt. It turns out they were flavorful, they were just under salted.
I go here for my daughter, she absolutely loves the Brown Stew Chicken curry potatoes and cabbage and rice,I prefer the oxtails and plantain. We have tried others,But my daughter Kay, loves this restaurant. The food is really good and not to pricey. I definitely recommend Island Vibes true to the name.

The food is fantastic!!!! Our jerk chicken was amazingly seasoned and literally fall-off-the bone tender! The sides were delicious (especially the plantains!) Can't wait to come back and try all the dishes and all the sides and then some!
They were upset at us and being rude because we was asking for food that they ran out of. But apparently we had no clue. We just looked at the menu and ordered. IT DIDNT FEEL WELCOMING AT ALLBut I love their curry chicken.
Ordered Island Vibes for our office lunch today. We called ahead the order but when I walked in, the sights and smells definitely had me rethinking my order multiple times - I just wanted to try it all.Happened to stop in around lunch time, and people were in and out in good time with hot food. Definitely a treat!

Food and service are great. Portion sizes are great. The pepper steak was more like roast but still good. I will definitely be back.
This was the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had! The jerk chicken was incredible, perfectly spiced. The curry potatoes were great and the plantains were sweet and fried very well. The owner is a very kind and fabulous women! The only thing I’d say that would make Island Vibes better is a quaint interior remodeling. 5 stars for the food. 3 stars for the building.
