Nice little pub, very popular. Good beer selection on tap. The Italian sub is the only thing I've ever ordered there, but it is good ($10 for a regular meat sub, but it's big, doesn't come with chips or fries, but the sandwich itself is more than enough). Recommended!
Dive bar would be an apt description.Sandwiches served with a bag of chips, fairly simple, for the most part. The quality was so-so, and it was relatively convenient lunch.Dim lighting, very well worn furniture, and a number of regulars, even for lunch.
What looks like an assuming hometown bar, is one of the best subs you can get in the greater Columbus area. The meatball sub is special, and the BLT is also very good. The staff is very nice and will go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. Oh and they have drinks, and lots of tvs for sports. And a large patio area for dining as well.

This is the best subs in Columbus been going here for a while ! Very disappointed in the cook for 2 days I was sent home with a sub that was so burnt I couldn’t eat it went back the next day with the burnt sub I couldn’t eat , it was remade with tomatoes I couldn’t put my teeth through . Fire the cook you mess up the 1st time and don’t make it right the second time that’s a problem! Tomatoes I wouldn’t give to my dog !!!

I’m giving this place 5-Stars based solely on their Italian Subs… they have 4 different variations on this timeless classic, and all are absolutely outstanding !!! There is no better Italian sub in Central Ohio anywhere… And don’t bother ordering double meat, because there is no need… these subs are generously loaded. I do prefer to order mine with extra banana peppers ? ??The atmosphere is classic Clintonville neighborhood bar, frequented by a lot of non-intrusive regulars… but don’t bring up politics, because regret it no matter what your politics (just do do it !!!).The restrooms are very clean, and hand washing is very easy to accomplish before your food arrives.On the downside, I question their draft beer tap practices, because the lagers and pilsners often have a flavor imparted from other beers that have recently run through them… The Stella recently tasted like a raspberry-wheat, and the Miller Lite recently tasted like Blue-Moon… ech !!! … Stick to the bottles and cans, unless you sample your choice before you buy, even the standard stuff. … that said, the Guinness is always good.
