Words cannot express how impressed I am that the North Market location continues to provide good service starting from management to crew. They are always friendly and helpful, along with good quality food. The store is kept clean. This will forever by my preferred location. Continue the good work and good service! It's appreciated ? and please keep Ma's Mac coming out as delish as you always do!
Wow! What a sandwich! Highly recommend! Every single thing about this sandwich was just right - pickle, slaw, chicken, bread, house ranch - the total package! Can't wait to visit again!

I had a holy @#$& chicken sandwich, some mac and cheese, and bread pudding here. The chicken sandwich was pretty spicy, but it's normal spicy for anyone that eats foreign food. The mac and cheese was good, and cheesy. The bread pudding was really sweet and had good chunks in it. The chicken itself, was very thick, it had taken me many bites to finish. I put their ranch sauce on top of the chicken sandwich which tasted good. I would recommend the chicken sandwich to anyone that is looking for a lunch in the area. I will definitely be coming back for another meal.
Take pics of the bird to make your friends jealous! HCT has the best quality food options of any chicken spot in town. They’re the ONLY real hot chicken joint in Columbus. They treat customers right, they treat employees right. It shows in how happy everybody on both sides is even when North Market is BOOMING and BUSY. The food arrived warm and packaged well. I tried a little of everything I ordered. They gave me two extra pieces of chicken (so I will definitely get at least another meal/meal and a half out of my food order). The chicken was good but the restaurant really needs to drain the chicken A LOT MORE (so so greasy) and/or include extra napkins. The macaroni and cheese was just ok (really had no flavor (very bland) not sure what type and brand of cheese(s) they use) but it could be much much better because it does not live up to the description of "southern". The baked beans were good just needed to be warmer temperature wise. The white bread was a tad bit stale but it was fine. The waffles were very good (maybe just needed a little vanilla and/or cinnamon added to the batter). My only real disappointment was that with uber eats I didn't have the option to get the free cup of sweet tea! All in all Hot Chicken Takeover is worth trying just make sure you have an handful of extra napkins close by!...
Love this place. The chicken is crispy and juicy and inside. The Mac is cheesy and delicious. And the beans are just right. And for dessert that banana pudding it's out of this world. I'm going to go there every day.
Spicy vegan nuggets are so good!! I get the warm ones and they are still pretty hot! I love that they havemeat free options. Their Mac n cheese is also so so yummy!!
The absolute BEST hot chicken sandwich I've ever had. Got the Holy hot sauce - has a great kick but also tolerable heat and great flavour! I usually don't like ranch sauce but their ranch was delicious! Took the extra sauce home! Also great service and friendly staff that goes the extra mile for their customers!
