hands down the best brisket sandwich I've ever had
Well la di da di di! DELICIOUS. The brisket is juicy and the in house sauces are too die for. I had a Mac and cheese bowl with brisket. They let you pick a fatty or lean cut and you can add a bunch of stuff on top too! I ended up getting a pint of pickles to go because they slapped too! My nephew got the pulled pork sandwich and devoured it. Definitely will return when I'm on that side of town.
Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had!
Ok. Been sliding through the city in search for some good bbq. Sometimes the saying is “if you want it done right, do it yourself.” I drove across the way to eat at a well known spot. Upon arriving, I saw the manager at like a bbq station with all sides beside him. Baked beans were dried out, sausage was really dry, coleslaw… had no business being online. It definitely had a horrible texture and bad aftertaste. The Mac and the muffin were great. Got the 3little piggies. The ribs were made a while ago and wrapped in plastic and shoved in a microwave to be ready to served. You can definitely taste it too. They weren’t bad, but were lacking freshness, smokiness and we’re partially flavored. The sauce was on the side and I would’ve appreciated it better on the meat. I’d say 70% in my opinion. Change that horrible coleslaw and do something different with the way the meat is stored for serving. At least don’t let the customer see it.
Best BBQ in all of Columbus. I’m usually one of those people that says BBQ all tastes the same. No more! Every bite and piece of food was good and tasted like good quality ingredients.Definitely better then anything else in town.
The best BBQ I have had in several years! So juicy and delicious. The Columbus Original BBQ sauce was not my favorite, but the ribs did not even need the sauce because they were seasoned so well!! The fries were hot, crunchy, and perfectly salted. Loved the cole slaw. Loved the baked beans. The SMOKED WINGS BLEW MY MIND! Service was fast and friendly!! My family and I will be returning. Thank you for existing, Hoggy's!!!!
This BBQ is ELITE. Hoggy's social media had been stalking me on Instagram for weeks, so when I was in town for a concert I stopped in. ALL of the meat we had was top notch and smoked to perfection. Everything was fresh! As soon as we got there, they were bringing out a freshly smoked brisket and the smell and look immediately got my attention. 10x better than what I had seen on Instagram. I can still taste and smell the bark on the meat and I am writing this 5 days after visiting. The meat was melt in your mouth. I cant forget about the sides and the sauces. Mac n cheese, green beans and baked beans were great. I need to go back and try more sauces. You definitely want to eat here if you love BBQ!
Best BBQ in Columbus. I'm not even overhyping it.The brisket and pulled pork legit fell apart when they cut it and tasted amazing. Portions were generous. Sides (mac and cheese and green beans) were really good. Cornbread muffin was high quality for something you get as a bonus.Oh, and the General Manager took the time to walk me through the menu since I hadn't been before.Everybody was nice and the whole place was clean and well spaced out.Seriously, give Hoggy's a shot.
Kathy and Hoggys did my daughter’s wedding in December … food was phenomenal ! People still Are commenting on the brisket. Recommend 100%
