Stumbled in while I was in Columbus for a convention. They were clearly understaffed, but I didn't mind waiting, especially since they had lacrosse on the television. I haven't had Greek food in a while, and I wasn't disappointed. Any restaurant that offers more that hummus for dipping is good in my book. I ended up with a plate of tzatziki with pita and a falafel burger, and I was happy with both. If I have any complaints about the food it's that there wasn't enough garlic for my taste, but it was hitting pretty hard by the end of the meal. This might be my new favorite haunt on High Street whenever I'm town.
Glad I went on a Monday so that I could truly enjoy the food.HIGHLY recommend the lamb chops!!!The dolmades are tasty. The salad was nice and had some good feta and fresh veggies.Super tasty, greasy, succulent and juicy gyro meat. Legitimate lamb and beef mix not ugly frozen precooked meat.Nice pour on the drinks too.Great experience and excellent service and food.
The food is actually very good. The only reason for the 4 stars is the service is so damn slow and weird. Would def go back if we are in the area again.
I've been coming a patron of this awesome little restaurant (in this location, and the one that used to be in the Campus Gateway area) since I was an OSU student, so about 10 years. Consistently delicious. Well deserving of the yearly "Best Gryo" awards they always seem to win. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. It's just a classic and a must for anyone who enjoys Mediterranean and Greek cuisine. 5 stars!
One of Columbus' best restaurants. The food is great. The atmosphere is family friendly, casual, but nice. The night we were there, one employee worked the house and two or three worked the kitchen. Despite the lack of personnel, service was prompt and friendly. The one house worker also handled all calls, all pick-up orders, and all walk-ins placing to-go orders. The kitchen staff had no problem keeping up.We enjoyed the appetizers of olives with feta, and the fried calamari. Our entrees were the seafood trio and the salmon. Both were excellent. If you've not had Greek wines, they offer several reds and several whites. They deserve sampling. Greek whites, especially, have more robust qualities than wines grown in cooler climates.
Great food, good beer and fast service. Had the Feta Fries, Spicy gyro with Greek salad and plain gyro with veggies - all of which were delicious. The IPA on tap is from a Cincinnati brewery and was pretty good too!
The lamb kebab was extremely tough to chew.... couldn't eat it. The Mediterranean salad was bland. The lamb gyro was not great either. The tiger shrimp appetizer was good so 2 stars for that.
1st time here. Amazing beef shwarma platter. Great service and friendly staff. My only negative was it could have been a little cleaner.
There are a ton of restaurants around this area so we try to explore new ones. This is a 1st for us here & it was marvelous darlings! We had a good ole time & everything was delish! Idk about other peoples experience but ours was top notch. More power to your restaurant ?????????
Their lamb chops are amazing. Visited on a Friday evening and when greeted and was told the wait was 15 minutes. There were only two servers. I waited patiently at the bar for that amount of time before my order was taken. The wait was definitely worth the lamb chop platter. If you visit please try!
