My husband and I always pass this place and we always say we want to visit. Well, today we decided to visit and we loved it a lot! It has a very old school feel and even outdated decor and seating but that's what made it so perfect!! It reminded us of when we were kids and when we walked in we seen either the owner or manager, not sure which, sitting down eating and she greeted us while she was eating. For my husband and I, that felt like home, like family! It was not stuffy or bougie, or fancy which was perfect for us. She even told us that they don't change much which was cool too! The place could use a deep scrub throughout but other than that, it was perfect for us! Good Ole simple breakfast food! We will try lunch next time! ?
I stopped and had breakfast for the first time on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at approximately 10:00 a.m. Best breakfast that I have had in a long time. Being retired, I eat breakfast out a couple of times a week at TeeJayes, Scrambler’s Marie’s, or First Watch. This was definitely one of my best experiences. Food was great and fast, and service was excellent. I had the eggs, potatoes, bacon, wheat toast, and coffee. Definitely will be going back.
? down this is My and Husband Favorite Breakfast place in Columbus Ohio... It's to the point we know the entire staff name and they also knows our names also well. Josh which is the waiter don't even gives us an menu anymore, because he knows our order by heart. But overall the restaurant always clean and when you walk in you can feel Good Vibes instantly they all have wonderful personalities upbeat smiles on their faces and the conversation is great the food is just wonderful so I give it five stars I love the skillet
Good old fashioned home cooked meals with friendly and fast service. Their Eye Opener platter hits the spot! Their coffee is always fresh. Convenient parking on the sides of the restaurant as well as the front and rear of the building. Cash only.
The food and the service is always good thats why me and my husband keep going back I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good breakfast lunch
The food was good for the most part. Pancakes left a little to be desired. Service was good. The place could use a good overhaul. Ceiling looked horrible and seating is old and stuff just seemed dirty.
I'd never been until a month ago. Pretty great place. It's got the perfect atmosphere of an old diner, and i absolutely love it. Food was great and pretty cheap for what you get.
Grill and skillet had been the most consistent little mom and pop place ive been to. Ive been going there for atleast 15 years and the food is always the same and the service is always quick. The servers always seem as if they are joyed to be at work as well.
Great food and service, classic diner with some great option on the menu.
