During our visit at giordanos at navy pier we had the worst experience we had a to wait 1 hr 1/2 . Then when we received our text to confirm our table was ready we waited another 1 hr only to find out our order was lost I was then told our pizza would be ready in 40 minutes .1 hr later still no food we ask to speak with a supervisor and was told he would give us a appetizer on the house.once the appetizers were received I found mold in my cheese bread see photo below… I was told it was cheese…. Wow!!! Once my pizza was finally done they brought it out in a to go box!!! I had to get up and ask to have a pizza knife like all the other quest sitting around us!!!!! This was a horrific experience!!!!! I would not recommend !!!!
Giordano’s is a Chicago-style pizza chain that opened in Polaris area a few years back. The service and food are both top tier. Chicago-style deep dish pizza is their main focus and most popular, but they do also specialize in thin crust and extra thin crust if you decide you can’t eat anything but Columbus-style pizza. The appetizers are fantastic, too. We had the cheesy bread, and the salads are super fresh. Ask for John if you’re able — best server ever. Keep in mind that for deep dish pizza, you order it first and it takes roughly 30 minutes or so to bake. So, keep that in mind, and allot for that time in your plans. Order some cocktails, chat it up in this family-friendly atmosphere while you patiently await the cheesy goodness. You won’t regret trying them out!
We have family in Chicago and had such good deep-dish pizza the last time we were there that we wanted to try this Giordano's. It was SO good. As usual, we ordered too much. But with pizza that's normal right?! Breakfast the next morning :).
This is a nice place with a good bit of buzz on a Friday evening. We had a fabulous server (Rian) and really enjoyed his service. The food however, is average. We liked the garlic parmesan fries and the parmesan crusted pizza. The chicken nuggets were way too saucy and the deep dish pizza felt like it lacked flavor and was not very hot when it arrived. So, the cheese had begun to solidify and affect the overall eating experience.
Not a good experience. Didn't have what I wanted from the menu posted on Google. May try whole deep dish with some help next time. Personal pizza not impressive. Bar was closed.
If you're planning to come here, please intend to do so with a big appetite. We ordered a medium and the pizza is so dense we literally only made it through 3 slices and we typically can eat ? Our bill was cheap, our food was good, and the staff was attentive. Big fan. Chicago deep dish is something you don't come by super often in the Ohio area so it is nice to get away to a place like Giordano's when you can! We have pizza for a week now probably so definitely you get your money's worth and it is magnificent ?
Incredible pizza, amazing crust and worth the wait for for that crust I crave!!
Great employees and service as well as great food
First time trying this place and i will admit it was amazing. My cousin was not wrong said it was amazing pizza. It lived up to the hype and the cheese was simply amazing
Just as good as getting it in Chicago! Calamari was delicious and had fried lemon slices and banana peppers in it. If you’ve never had a fried lemon slice, you’re missing out. We struggled to eat two pizza slices each so if you don’t want leftovers, get a small pizza to share. They also have thin crust and pan pizza but I can’t imagine not getting the traditional deep dish. It’s amazing and soo cheesy.
