Enjoyed the atmosphere here. Thought the burger was good but not great. Nothing really stood out for me. Fries were great though. I’d definitely come back to try something else.
This is place has brunch and dinner options, is on a perfect spot, huge parking lot, with both indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of space. It has its own dimamic which if you are not familiar and you crave that extra stalking attention of a waiter attentive of every need you may have every 5 seconds, this place is not for you.First of all you sit yourself and then order through a qr code ? or go inside and they take your order at the bar.Service is very friendly and fast, they have a lot of beer and cocktails options even samplers ??.The food is fresh and amazing, it was our first time but we'll be back.
avoid!! criminal!!! thieves!!! this staff take your food and and drink before you can finish it!!! you will not be allowed to eat and drink in a pub if you stand up, the staff clear the table within in seconds?!!! wtf! the do not offer wait service (traditional european) and when you go to place an order they take anything left on the table away!!!! criminal activity at it's best!!! if you want to get robbed, go here!
I enjoy the beer and atmosphere here. With the German style and industrial design of the space, it gets mighty loud so be prepared!
I struggled with the rating because I’m split on the bier and grub. The first thing I ordered was the tall Hefeweizen. I sniffed and I sipped, and I sniffed and sipped again. The nose is crisp and bright and spicy and slightly banana-ey. It met my expectations, and I was eager to dive into the sip. It was light and refreshing and gives the slight facade of a hefe, but as soon as I swallowed my gulp, it fell flat. It gave me more of a Pilsner impression with spiciness and flat bitterness with no sweet residue or complexity.Eh, what can you do?And since I neglected to mention, I’d like to interject that the guy who took my order and the one who got my beer were delightfully friendly and helpful. The guy at the register suggested the Reuben fries and mentioned that it’s a happy hour item didn’t have to twist my arm after his description. He pointed out that the corned beef and thousand island dressing is made in house, and he had me hooked. I’m game for some original recipe cuisine! After a short wait and a few sips of hefe, my fries hit the table, and I was immediately impressed and anxious to dive in. The fries were crisp on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside, but the first flavor to impress me was the sautéed onions. As I chewed more, the flavor of the corned beef crept up from among the amalgamation of flavoration and drew me in completely. These fries I love! The more bites I enjoyed, the more the sauerkraut shined through and everything just symphonized across my taste buds. The thousand island dressing and Swiss cheese joined the chorus, and I cared less and less about the calorie count accumulating in my gut.Honestly, the flavors don’t reach out and slap you in the face with intensity, but together they are a force to be reckoned with. Subtly winning you over with each bite.Well done, Gemut Biergarten! I can’t wait to return for the full Reuben with the fries on the side! I’ll try a different bier next time and update
This is a neighborhood place I've never visited, so I decided to take a beer connoisseur friend one night. I'm honestly appalled that a restaurant that charges $18 for a sandwich makes you go to the bar to order. They do bring it to you, but at one point there was more waitstaff than there was customers. On a Friday night of all things. (Note: the waitstaff was kind and attentive.)They have a couple of really long cafeteria style tables and some benches, as well as outdoor seating. It felt really informal for the prices they charge. The food was marginally okay, but I won't be going back. I'm bummed - really good I'd like it more.
Beer food were great ,service? ? I felt rushed.....and if they weren't swiping my card didn't show interest in me....didn't express much enthusiasm about their beers and food Reuben fries were good .....slow down I know it's Thursday but customers want to enjoy you
Service is almost non-existent. Sitting at the bar waiting forever to get a beer and then even longer to order my food. No one ever checked if my food came out okay. I ordered the Jägerschnitzel. The mushroom gravy is just melted butter with mushrooms. The red cabbage is rough cut, almost raw and not boiled with cloves like it's supposed to.The food is served on a metal platter which I'm not a fan of because it cools down the food very fast and the appeal is not very good. The beer was okay but if you want a good schnitzel, do yourself a favor and go to the Hofbräuhaus.
Had a seriously excellent experience at Gemut tonight! It was a beautiful Saturday night so they were slammed but the service was friendly and prompt and the food was AMAZING! Jaeger schnitzel was great (much better than Hofbrauhaus) and the blackened salmon salad was also delicious. Seriously impressed and will definitely go back!
I just returned from Germany and this is such a dope fusion of American and German culture. Love the radlers and the schnitzel. Beautiful bar with stained glass windows and an outdoor Biergarten. I absolutely love this place!
