Very disappointed. I ordered jollof with goat meat and 2 meat pies. The jollof rice was burnt, some pieces of the goat were burnt like a car's tire, both meat pies were burnt! It's like they came out of a grill from hell ?. All for $21. Amazing! I usually don't leave reviews like this but the cashier lied to my face when I asked if the meat pies were good. Watch out
I got the goat light soup with fufu, and I will not be going there again. There was a lot of soup and 2 small pieces of goat, and one of the pieces was a goat tongue. If you’re going to charge me $16 for a bowl of soup and 2 pieces of goat, I would rather go to African Paradise. They are the same price, and they give you a lot more food. They give you a lot more goat too, none of the pieces being a tongue.I was excited to try this place out, and I was greatly disappointed.
The only positive is the cleanliness of the place. The meat patties were dry, the peanut soup didnt taste like any peanut soup I’ve have had. I have had Senegalese, Burkinabe, Ghanaian and Nigerian. I would be embarrassed to serve what they served, my wife would be embarrassed to serve what they served.Try Sermat, Chez Rama, Savór, Madina or any other place before this one.
A new place for some delicious and authentic food! There's plenty of parking outside and setting inside for small groups, families, and casual meals.Service was a bit slow, we waited for about 30 mins for our food, but the quality in the food and kindness from staff is abundant! We ordered dine-in and you can also order to go. We ordered at the counter and sat ourselves and the owner/server brought us the food. Staff was very kind and super friendly, very helpful with any questions you may have.The food was good, very authentic, and flavorful. I don't remember the name of the entrees we got, but the meat in both dishes were good and cooked with lots of flavor. We ended up paying about $45 before tip for 2 people.We enjoyed our meals and we hope that more people can try their food!
We ordered ahead for pick up and half of the food we ordered was out of stock, it took them at least 1.5 hrs after the estimated pick up time to get the food we did get and it was cold and the food was not good. And they had awful customer service, they wouldn’t answer the phone when we had called.
No customer service. Chicken jollof was not cooked to order. It had been cooked earlier in that day or maybe the previous day. Just heated up (barely) and still took forever to get to the table.
No better place to have your African dish than here. Good, tasty food at an affordable price with great customer service. Absolute value for money and taste bud satisfaction.Pro Tip: Try the TZ, you’ll come back every day for it.
