The best ice cream place in town. Brightly colored, vibrant, great product, and friendly service. Big crowds but worth the wait!
Have you ever drove by a place, thought it looked interesting, kept having that thought every time you went by, but then never actually went in?DO NOT THE FOREVER DRIVE-PASS-FORGET CYCLE WITH DULCE VIDA.I can't deduct a single ★ from Dulce Vida's score. This is the first business I ever wanted to ADD stars to the score. Dulce Vida is THE place to get ice cream. The location you go is unimportant. There is not just many different flavors of high quality ice cream. Not just all the ice cream adjacent sweet frozen treats. Not just the interesting things like mangonada or takis (spicy chip) ice cream. At least one of the locations has hot food too.Since when have you ever wanted to go to an ice cream shop because of the atmosphere? I'll wait. Most ice cream shops you just get it and go and there's little to remember about the storefront itself. The attention to detail about having good product for a good price while also having a good experience while buying the ice cream. If all the flavors don't make sense, just ask for chef's recommendation and taste test. There have been flavors that weren't a favorite, but all the flavors and other frozen treats are delicious. How often can you say that?Dulce Vida is right around the corner with a 7★ star experience. If you never go you'll never know what you're missing. Learning one opened near my house was bad news for my pocketbook.
i am a loyal customer at this location, however i was shocked at the service i received today. The shop was busy and i did not want to trouble the workers to sample a flavor. i tried a new flavor and it wasn’t what i expected to be. i politely asked to switch flavors (as another customer did) and one of the ladies refused to switch my ice cream, after i had already paid for my scoop and asked to just switch it. i wouldn’t have had an issue, if i didnt witness them switch someone’s scoop already 10 min before me. as someone who is in customer service, i cant believe i was refused something as simple as a different scoop. and they were talking about me in spanish not knowing i can understand them. please be courteous of how you treat your customers.
What a wonderful gem! So thanful to have a place like this on my side of town! Truly an authentic and impressive shop! So many wonderful classic and unique flavors to choose from. I got the pistacho ice cream and it was so tasty! Delicious paletas and helados!! Plus, such an affordable, family-oriented, and hospitable place! The workers were so kind and offered great service! The snacks and food look amazing as well, I cannot wait to try!
I try to not eat sugar, but got a hankering for ice cream. If I'm going to eat it I'm only getting the best. I've never been disappointed here.
This is one of the most amazing places I have found locally for ice cream and treats! They have everything from sherbert, to ice cream, to walking tacos, to nachos. They also have amazing drinks like Horchata and other drinks I haven't tried yet. The mangonada is a must for my next visit! Also, tamales, Popsicles, and street corn are must haves as well!
Love this second location almost as much as W Broad St. The customer service is top notch. Offered samples before we asked and gave great recommendations. Very busy Saturday night but we were helped in seconds. Large portions and great price. Ice cream is of course spectacular!
Get the chocolate ice cream sandwich with Oreos. Delicious
This place is the little known gem of ice cream shops. Local made and impossibly delicious with rare flavors. We had to slow down eating here because I was getting to be a short and round girl. Now it has to be a sweet treat instead of a weekly.Friendly staff and amazing ice cream.
The best ice cream anywhere! Very creamy and tasty. The staff is really friendly and helpful.
