I held my son and daughter-in-law's Rehearsal Dinner at Due Amici last weekend and let me tell you........ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! From the planning with Lexie, to the kind and terrific staff, it was a delight from start to finish. And the food!! Wow! Just delicious! I am so thankful that our event was held here and I can't wait to go back for dinner!! Thank you so very much for being so wonderful!
Cozy, romantic and delicious! We made reservations here before a show at the Ohio theater. It was a quick walk from the Ohio State parking garage. The staff was welcoming and gave great recommendations on cocktails and menu items. The food and drinks were excellent and we loved the atmosphere.That being said, we were disappointed to find out we couldn't enjoy happy hour because we weren't sitting in the lounge which was confusing to say the least and really tainted the experience. We got there early to enjoy the great discount and had to pay full price.
A group of about 15 of us celebrated our friend's 40th birthday. My husband and I started by ordering a bottle of Super Tuscan red wine. It was great and I believe the price was around $30. I had a few bites of calamari and thought the taste was good. Had a Caesar salad and that was tasty as well. For dinner, we both had the chicken parmesan. It was decent but neither of us loved it. A few dinners got "lost" so a few people in our party had to wait a while to eat. Overall, it was good. Server was very knowledgeable. My friend had a wonderful birthday, which was most important!
Drinks and service and atmosphere were great, but the food was seriously underseasoned. No detectable salt in the risotto, the pasta, the chicken, the meatballs or the sauce. It's the most basic mistake a cook can make. Caramel tiramisu was ok, but it's really not tiramisu without any espresso or chocolate. Very weirdly unimpressive meal for a moderately expensive restaurant. At this price point, delicious food should be a given. This would have been a mediocre meal at an Olive Garden. But props to the bartender, and the waitstaff was responsive and cheerful - even though it seemed the restaurant was a bit understaffed.

My husband and I had our wedding at Due Amici and it ended up being the most amazing experience. We utilized both of their private event spaces for our big day and both were absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a small intimate wedding. Lexie, their private events manager, was an absolute angel to work with. She made my vision come to life, responded to emails promptly, and was on top of everything. I never had to ask for anything, it was just ready for us. My guests are still talking about how wonderful the food and service staff were a week later! They made us feel more like family than people using their space. The entire experience was above and beyond anything I could have dreamt every step of the way. I cannot recommend them enough. Due Amici will always have a special place in our hearts and we will return regularly to enjoy the best tiramisu I've ever tasted and reminisce about that incredible day. Do yourself a favor and go visit them, they will not disappoint.
Service was amazing! She was so efficient and friendly!Food was absolutely horrid. Zero flavor. It was like they had never even heard of salt and pepper. Nothing on that menu met the satisfaction compared to the price of the food.
Reservation was at noon- we walked in and there were only 4 tables. We ordered drinks and it took over 20 minutes for them to get to us- another waitress ended up seeing them just sitting up on the bar and carried them over. Finally got our food order in and it didn't arrive until 12:45. Food was mediocre at best- the risotto was split and bland and the pasta I had was only okay. For a $75 dollar lunch, we definitely expected better service at the least. Restaurant was pretty and clean, food was only okay, cocktails were 50/50 (mine was horrible and his was delicious) and service was terrible.
I absolutely love this bar and love Grace! She is absolutely wonderful and so engaging! Definitely a place to come for a good time!
