Make sure you know your options and/or add on's..i.e., croaker vs. Tilapia...and whatever else side wise you might fancy or you will get a choice you may not want. So be clear and specify.I also got their version of egusi but there really wasnt egusi unless order was messed up. It was more of a spinach stew (sorry pic not in my phone and took it to go)..it was good.I enoyed the atmosphere as well.Would go again.Prices were a bit steep but the economy is whacked soooo.

Where do I start from; The food here got me dreaming of food at night, that's to say it taste good. The owner of the restaurant is so welcoming and very patient with clients. I was surprised to know most often she cooks the food herself. Visit and see for yourself, she might be the one serving you. Before you go drop your baised at the door if you are going to try a dish that is not your traditional meal then you don't know how it's supposed to taste, because it's foreign to you and if you don't like it, don't come on here writing reviews of how it was too spicy or whatever. It's an African Restaurant, we love it spicy. One more thing at this place; patience is a virtue because she likes serving her clients fresh hot food. You are better of ordering ahead of time before going to pickup.

The food is fantastic. It is fresh, authentically African, has a lot of flavors, is warm service, and is extremely healthy. It makes your body feel good and refreshed not nasty and bloated like some food does. It was well cooked. I wanted more even before I finished my food. I got the Turkey Tail and fired Yam. Perfect! Great flavor, taste, and freshness. My family got Okra sauce with steak and fish. We also got fufu with peanut soup with fish and Chicken. All of it was great! It had much flavor and was cooked to perfection. They will add extra pepper to your food if you want it.I can't wait to come back again!!!

This used to be one of my favorite African restaurants until today I came in to pick up my food and a Caucasian male they hired to work for them was treated poorly and spoken to like he was beneath everyone this is my second time seeing him and when I first seen him I thought wow this is a good thing there’s diversity here now but the way the woman spoke to him was very upsetting she could have done it in private instead of embarrassing him.. it’s to the point where I don’t want to do business with them and she was upset that I didn’t leave a tip why would someone leave a tip after listening to you speak down to someone while they are trying to help you make money! And she was rude to me also

Hi I am the “Caucasian” male working the register and for the record I am actually Algerian and I wonder why latoya would write this because I have been treated only with respect and I love working here every minute. Madam Lisa was showing me how to use the register and nothing was disrespectful or rude. Please only make reviews with facts next time.

Food was great. Giving her 4 star because she didn’t pay attention to my order and mess it up. But overall would Recommend this spot!

I have eaten at this restaurant in the past and it was good, but not outstanding. Yesterday I went to get carry out. The owner said I might have to pay in cash as he was trying to get the credit card machine to work. I did not mind his fiddling with it for ten minutes. I noted on the chalkboard that Tilapia was $21 and Tilapia Dinner was $25. These were the only items on the board. His reply was he didn't know and that they put things on there all the time. He kept tinkering with the credit card machine and did not bother to ask either of the two people working in the kitchen. I thought that was poor customer service and told him I was leaving. I cannot comment on the food as I did not get any this time and unlikely to return in the future.

I have not had Ghanaian food in 3 years. But when I came here to meet my friends, Lisa was very welcoming and the meal (groundnut soup w/ goat meat and rice balls) bought back a lot of memories when I first traveled to Ghana 5 years ago. Whenever I'm in Columbus, I would definitely be making this one of my spots!

Perfect flavors! Spicy because I wanted it to be. Oh so yummy

This was the 2nd time me trying this restaurant, I just mentioned that the potion size compared to other restaurants I bought the Soup was not much. The owner got very offensive I understand if the restaurant needs to recover from COVID-19 lost. I when home and opened my dish and found out there was only 4 pieces of bones with little to no goat meat on it. I'm not knocking the taste of the dish just the quantity because 1owner stated that she put 5 pieces of goat meat but it wasn't so also this 2nd time I ordered this dish.
