I’ve been going here to eat every now and then for years and I’ve never been disappointed. The food is fresh, made fast, and fairly priced. On every single occasion I’ve picked up food from Cornerstone I saw employees working. They truly strive to get the work done and do things the right way and I have never had a single issue with any order I’ve gotten being wrong or not made the way I requested. Five stars, you guys deserve it!
Yeah, the inside's a little quirky, the menu is all over the place, and the food can sometimes be inconsistent but somehow it all adds to the place's independent, nostalgic neighborhood-joint charm. Feels like one of the last remaining affordable independent cafes around here. This place serves so many purposes: good for lazy takeout days, bringing out-of-towners, quick stop in the morning for breakfast, cute date spot, dinner out...literally anything. And the food is always amazing and quick. Can you tell I'm a fan of Cornerstone?
This place has such a varied menu that it can either be easy or difficult to make a decision. I've had their spicy shrimp fried rice which was fantastic and this time I had the lox bagel which was just the right amount of everything.Since they are in Clintonville, it's also nice they have parking in a lot just across the street which makes it very convenient to stop in too. Can't wait to head back to try the hot sandwiches.
Got Thai Curry Chicken and the veggies/rice/sauce were warm but the chicken was dried out and cold, like out of the fridge cold. Staff have always been pretty good, and I normally like the food, but what the hell?
I've ate there on four occasions, ordering several different items. Only one meal out of four was any good. Today they made me lox and bagels with a stale bagel and there's never any excuse for that. I'll never spend a dime in there again.
The food is usually pretty good, though they just raised the price of a lot of items by 25% so the value isn't what it used to be.
This place is a family favorite. We love going to a place with great sandwiches and really good sushi all under one roof. Good portions and prices, too.
This is a great spot for a quick bite to eat, business meeting, or meet up with friends. They have a unique menu with some Thai classics and American deli classics. Their coffee has an interesting twist as well, almost taste hints of chocolate. The service is quick and the staff is friendly. Staple spot in clintonville.
Love this place! I've never actually been here but I've got it delivered several times. They deliver their own orders and I've never had anything but a good experience with it! Food is delicious, well-priced, and there's a wonderful variety!
They have such a great variety of food here at a reasonable price. And most importantly for me, so many great vegan options. The herbivore wrap is my favorite, and today I tried their vegan pad Thai, which will also go on my regular list. Love this little gem.
