Great atmosphere, service and the Salmon was fantastic.
The management did a fantastic job of remedying the mistakes, and we will 100% go back. However, we put our order in before the table next to us even arrived, and they got their meals first. When we finally got the order, it was wrong. The server put in the wrong order, and the manager took 50% off the bill. They brought me - and I am not kidding - the saltiest piece of food I have ever eaten. It was so bad I didnât even take it home. They made me another dish and sent it to go for free. So, bad experience, but they did really work hard to make up for it. This was an anomaly for us, and usually have a great experience there.
Birthday Fabulous memories
Elle was fantastic- she was so personable and provided wonderful service
Birthday for my wife family get together. Great service our hostess was great!
Seated for over 10 minutes with no service, another waiter noticed us sitting there with no service and went to retrieve our waiter (Sam) for us! Took forever to get water, took forever to get our bottle of wine, took him forever for him to take our order, my husbands order wasnât correct, but he ate it anyway. My husband ordered another glass of wine to drink with dinner but he forgot to get it so we had to remind him and didnât get the wine until after he was finished with his dinner. Then it took awhile to get our check! We are club members and this is the worst service we have ever had! Not impressed at all! I will add that the dining room was not busy either.
Our waiter must have been having an off night, nice guy but didnât come to the table often. Didnât give us a chiller for our wine until we asked, took our order then didnât see him again till 30 minutes after we had finished eating had to ask him to bring us the check(other people brought our appetizers & entrees)
Family visiting
It was kind of warm this trip I noticed I was sweating a lot but everything else great
This was our first visit to Cooper's Hawk and I can't say that I'll be back soon. My husband and I made a reservation and had to wait about 15 minutes after for a table. Considering lack of staff most places, that was fine. We had a lovely server named Shannon who was kind and helpful and made the experience better than it could have been. We ordered an appetizer to start, bruschetta. It came out burnt. Literally black on the bottom. We stopped a manager walking by and told him of the issue. He didn't apologize, but said "Ok, I'll take it." And took the app and walked away. A little surprised, we assumed we'd get another or have it taken off the bill. I had ordered the three petite filets and my hubs ordered the roasted corn risotto. His was ok, but bland. But mine is where they had some trouble. The filets are topped with blue cheese, parmesan, and horseradish. I asked that there not be any horseradish and replaced with blue cheese. My filets came out with two horseradish and one parmesan, no blue cheese. Right as we were starting to eat, another extra toasted bruschetta appeared. It was at least edible black, so I guess that's an improvement. Anyway, I had mentioned the filet topping issue to the server and she had someone bring another filet out. A nice gesture I thought. However, when the bill came out they charged us $18 for a re-fired filet. Since I hadn't asked for it, that was eventually removed. A bright shining spot in the meal was dessert. We split key lime pie and took home a couple truffles for later. I would recommend both. However, even with the yummy dessert and the great server, the overall experience was not worth the price tag. If you're going to spend this kind of money, aim for something worth it (i.e. The Barn, Jeff Ruby's, etc.).
