i did curbside pickup yesterday. i added some random sides to my order, and they remembered everything. thank you for checking my order for accuracy i greatly appreciate it! the female employee who brought out my order was friendly as well. my favorite sides were the potato salad, hushpuppies, and corn pudding!
Ordered via door dash. Portions were disappointing for the cost. The portion of brisket did not contain a single intact slice, mostly bits and scrap pieces. Requested extra sauce in the comments because DoorDash only gives you the option to order a pint but the city sampler only comes with one small sauce cup apparently. Fries arrived crispy and were good, baked beans were also very good.
Very tasty but the portions are small for the price. My husband and i ordered the city sampler and it was a tatsty mess to eat. The banana pudding is delicious. We may come back but will be more prepared on what to order

The food for my daughter's wedding was very cold. We paid extra to have it delivered and to have servers. A couple of weeks before the wedding, we filled out a paper indicating times for service. We paid for a cheese and fruit platter, which was nice, and then the food for the meal, brisket, chicken, Mac and cheese. The dinner was suppose to start at 6:00 pm as indicated on the sheet we filled out and also on the receipt they sent me to confirm times of service; however the servers put all the food out at 4:30 when they got there and they did not cover any of it nor did they have burners under it to keep it warm. Several times I asked them to please cover the food up because dinner was not until 6:00 and they still left it uncovered. Needless to say by 6:00 everything was very cold. I was so disappointed, we spent $2500.00 for very cold food. What was left over we threw out because it had all been sitting out and was cold. What a waste of money. I emailed Lydia, who was our rep from CityBBQ but never got a response back from her. If you plan to use them for a wedding, you might want to make your own arrangements for service to keep the food warm. Very disappointed.

I almost gave up on restaurants in Columbus because they are average at best. But, we went to City Barbecue on Henderson Road, Columbus, Oh. They made the best Southern style Green Beans and Potato Salad. So, delicious!!! The grilled chicken was good and the pulled pork was good as well. There is hope for good food in Columbus, at least on Henderson Road City Barbecue. Well worth the money.
Food homemade, delicious, one of a kind, best smoked meats anywhere in Ohio. Friendly, all smiles, greet you when you come in, there to welcome and serve, answer questions, let you sample. The barbeque sauce I would suggest trying well them all. My go to is the sweet and original. I could keep going. Never have I been disappointed. City Barbeque supports schools, sport programs, I sound like I work there. Team "Bethel road shout out" Thank you
The Upper Arlington location is the City BBQ I have visited. I always get take out orders. The food is great and no complaints about this at all! But the service is horrible. Every order has a mistake with something not included. I swear - every time! And when you go in to get your order, you end up standing there and waiting and waiting while people behind the counter ignore you. I can see they are busy. And this location looks like it is always understaffed. But the people behind the counter don't even have the courtesy to say "we'll be right with you." I was just there 5/6/22 and waited for 10 minutes while being ignored. I saw my order on the counter so I finally I just grabbed it. When I told the people behind the counter I was taking my order versus standing there any longer and being ignored, I didn't get an apology or anything. Instead the girl behind the counter stopped, stared at me with the dirtiest look she could give me. I will never return to this location again.
