We love everything we've tried at Chilispot. After eating in 4 times and taking out once, we are smitten. Each time we ordered different items and we've loved them ALL. A few days ago we tried the lamb with tofu skin and I honestly cannot say enough positive words about it - surprising, addicting, most underrated item on the menu. The dry pots are all exquisite. The veggie dishes are way more than a side. I can't wait to work our way through the rest of the menu. Do not overlook this amazing gem in our fair city. ?
This place is wonderful. My husband and I came here for Chinese New Year, I had the most authentic Chinese food experience. My husband is not Chinese, he also loved the authentic Chinese food! They were all beyond expectations. We even get free dumplings afterwards because of new year celebration. It made my day. We will definitely come back for more.
We were trying to find Asian food. I was in a hurry and thought the restaurant was called ChiliSpot because it was chilly inside, so I wore a jacket. Surprisingly, the climate was quite comfortable so I took my jacket off, and soon realized that “chili” was a reference to chili peppers / spices. Dining was an exhilarating, hedonistic experience of pleasure and pain, from the outrageous flavors blended with righteous spice. The service was very nice, and the TVs were not playing NBA, which is good, because I don’t like the NBA. The food was so good that I almost started singing that stupid Macarena song but I didn’t want to disturb the other diners. If you like spicy Chinese food and not being cold you should eat here.
Stellar meal. We got the spicy boiled beef, cold noodles, and sesame chicken. The spice was phenomenal! Great portions for the price, we took more than half home. We were there for awhile, not sure how long it took for our food to come out, but it was a busy Friday night. Can’t wait to go back!
Chilispot is one of my favorite restaurants that serves authentic Chinese food. Staff there are very pleasant. The dishes taste great, and what is even better is that you do not have to starve yourself to death when waiting for your dishes as the kitchen staff are quick at serving the food. it is amazing!
Don’t let the name of this place deceive you, they have dishes that aren’t spicy. I was a little worried about coming here since I don’t like spicy food but they definitely had lots of options.I had sesame chicken that was really good. My friend had soup/broth that he thought was great. Restaurant is pretty small but nice seating area. I would definitely come back here.
They charge a lot for food that is not fresh, everything look and tastes like they’ve been sitting for years. Absolutely terrifying and disgusting. Chef cannot and obviously does not care about food quality. Do not waste your time and money here
My friends and I came here and it was my first time. I was excited about their menu items because it looked authentic and delicious. There's plenty of parking inside the plaza, a decent amount of seating inside, and it was busy when we went on Friday night. We decided to order family style and got the Storm Fish, Mapo Tofu, Shanghai greens and mushrooms, and Dandan noodles. The Storm Fish was absolutely the best dish we ordered, in my opinion. The fish was battered well and super crispy, seasoned well, and cooked perfectly. The Szechuan spices weren't too overpowering but if you've never had this spice, it's a drier heat and full of flavor. The Mapo Tofu was also done very well; not too firm, not too soft. The flavor was abundant and powerful. The Shanghai greens and mushrooms was delicious! The sauce is a bit plainer, but mixed with all the Szechuan dishes, it was a great balance. The mushrooms in the dish was delicious and my favorite part of the dish. The Dandan noodles were my least favorite dish because it was too overpoweringly salty. The dish was a very small and was disappointing. The meal came with a bowl of white rice as well! Overall, the meal was delicious and I enjoyed all of it.Staff was nice but a bit inattentive and we had to flag down our servers few times for utensils, water, and our check. I would definitely come back for more!I would recommend this place for family dinner, casual date, small groups, and anyone looking for a delicious authentic meal!

My first, but not last, time dining at Chilispot was fantastic. The menu was more diverse and unique than I expected. All of the dishes we ordered were so flavorful and delicious, as well as different. The pricing was very reasonable for the size of the dishes, too. We will be back!
