Husband and I stopped on a Saturday after seeing a movie. Seated quickly and our server came over immediately. She was very friendly. We had dark dos equis and modelo to drink. I ordered flatbread taco which was giant and I took half of it home. Husband got two steak fajita tacos. Food was great and a bit pricey but worth it. Clean bathrooms and great tasting salsa for fresh taco chips. We will definitely stop back.
During Covid-19’s lockdown we often ordered carry out from this restaurant. We discovered their Anasazi salad with a couple of toppings and a side dish such as beans is certainly enough for two.
Pretty awesome to introduce my wife & son to this place, the same way I was over 20 YEARS ago.We had no time to sit down today but I was so shocked to see this place still in business after so long, I had to have my family try it out. So glad we did!My BBQ Grilled Fajita Burrito was fantastic. My wife has a restaurant in the Pickerington area that she says nothing compares to but judging by her dancing around while eating the salsa, devouring her fajita & the smiles, pretty sure she was very pleasantly surprised today.30 years in business. Must be doing something right. Was a great surprise to see today & excited to come back soon. Well done to you all.
In town for business and just stopped in. Something special going on here! If you know New Mexican cuisine, you’re in for a treat! The Green Chile Stew is awesome! And, if you are partial to Mexican food …. you’ll be pleased too! (And not recognize the New Mexican touches but leave thinking to yourself, “There was something different going on there!”) Good for you, Chile Verde … a hidden gem!
My mother and I had lunch here on a Saturday. Despite it being a peak time, we were seated quickly and had attentive service from our server Caleb. He checked on us regularly and was very personable. My mother had a chicken quesadilla and I had cheese and onion enchiladas. My enchiladas had multiple options- 5 different sauces, 2 types of rice (red or green), and either pinto beans or any other side. The entrees were of a good size, freshly made, and very flavorful. Dessert options were many and sounded delicious! We went with the key lime pie and the cinnamon crisp. Both were large in size and delicious. Overall a great meal in a clean and pleasing atmosphere with great service. I’d highly recommend Chili Verde Cafe.
This place is amazing! I went today and I have a soy allergy. Unfortunately their chips were fried in soybean oil, but the staff went out and bought chips for me that were soy free!! Some of the best customer service I have ever received.
My family and I have been coming here for the last 2 or more years, and each time we have received excellent service. From when you first walk into the door and all the way through to when you're ready to leave, the staff has been nothing short of professional. As for the food, I have yet to have anything here that I DON'T like. Their dishes are wonderfully diverse, and as mild or as spicy as you want. My personal favorite is the Breakfast Burrito with Chorizo. With everything stated and considered, I and my family will continue to return here for the great atmosphere, and even greater food!
Great Mexican Food at a Great Price !!!This is one of my favorite traditional Mexican restaurants in Central Ohio. The quality & quantity of their food are a cut above the majority of other Mexican restaurants around, and everything is fresh and delicious. It puts the chain restaurants to shame.
Best southwestern food in Ohio. They have habennero hot ? sauce
We moved to Columbus a year ago, we are originally from New Mexico and in heaven we found this totally authentic New Mexican food.Wife had a Navajo taco and I had to get a taste of everything to confirm it’s authenticity so I had an Enchilada, Tamale and Chile Relleno and both the Chile sauce and salsa’s were spot on.Wait staff was great, restaurant clean and totally great quality!!!!Found are place to go!!!
