When ever I am in town, this is my go to spot for a quiet meal. They run the gamut of Chinese and Thai dishes. Their Tom Kai Gai soup is some of the best I have ever had. If you are looking for something in the comfort food/fill you up side of the spectrum, I recommend any of the curries (green is my favorite) or the traditional Chinese dishes. If you are looking for something a bit lighter you can't go wrong with any of the lamb or fish dishes.
What a gem. We are in town for a few days and visited Chi Thai last night. The staff was friendly and attentive. The menu was extensive. There were both Chinese and Thai options. The portions were large, definitely enough to take home for lunch the next day. When I asked to go off menu for sesame tofu, not a problem. If we lived in this area, this would be our "go to" restaurant for sure.
Bang for your buck thai food. It's good. I only ever order drunken noodles. Its hard to eff up thai food so usually never have bad experiences at any thai place ive hit in Columbus. Check it out. Lunch prices defs worth it. It's a good lunch. I've only ever ordered to go but the staff has always been friendly and they're efficient. Nothing negative to share.
Good food and great service. A very nice experience. Food was served hot with a little bit of a wait, not unexpected with the numbers of occupied tables. Would recommend.
I was snowed in in Columbus but I was able to drive from the airport over to this restaurant which I pass about once a month. I’ve never had it before so I was going to give it a shot. My food was fantastic ! I ordered hot and sour soup, lettuce wraps, and drunken noodles and it was all very authentic. I will definitely be ordering from Chi Thai in the future! Thank you:)
Truly I never leave reviews but this is beyond expectations. Do not judge the restaurant by exterior appearances. The food exceeds expectations for the price as does the ambiance inside.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant! I literally eat here at least once or twice a week. Friday and Saturday they are always busy but they always manage to handle everything quickly and correct. They have a huge menu with delicious food! Once you try it I know you’ll be in love too.
An elegant & clean place with an extremely diverse menu! Our waitress was very friendly & took very good care of us. The food was very impressive with a price that I still can't believe was that inexpensive. Entrees for 4 plus a bottle of Pinot Grigio & I got out of there for right at $92! Our experience last night was much more valuable than that! We were only able to eat maybe 1/3 of the portion we were served. The to go container barely had enough room for what I couldn't eat, wow.We came in from Circleville & will make this journey again I can promise you that!Well done to the staff & management at Chi Thai Restaurant...
Good food and gluten-free friendly. Nice staff and although price wasn’t cheap, they have good portions and it’s worth it. Keep up the good work. I’ll be back
Chai Thai restaurant is one of the best Thai restaurants we have ever gone to. We have been going there for many years and it’s always a pleasure to see Steve, the proprietor, who has an amazing personality, besides being a master restaurant operator. This is a must place if you enjoy a great atmosphere, fun people and amazing food.
