This place was fantastic. The outdoor atmosphere was perfect, the weather definitely helped, but we had so much fun there. Our server David really made the evening. The orders were perfect, which was impressive for a table of 7. He had great recommendations and had fun with us which was really refreshing. We came to see our kids at OSU and take them out to dinner. We'll definitely go back here again!
I am writing a review to look at the accessibility of North Campus Cazuela's! What struck me initially at this location was the amount of steps that existed around the front entrance of the building. The main high street entrance had two steps going up to the outdoor seating area, followed by 4 more steps to reach the inside of the restaurant itself. This presents many challenges to those with mobility-related disabilities and wheelchair-users. As parking was off of high street, no accessible parking spots existed. Upon entering the restaurant, many differing seating options were presented; booths, chairs, bar seating, and wheelchair-friendly tables lined the inside of the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant was quite narrow though, and had steps going to differing areas of the restaurant.The menu was presented as a QR code to go to a digital menu, which may be good for those with screen readers. No tactile or braille menus were advertised or presented. Upon being seated, I was seated in an area dark except for strobe lights and loud with music -- which may present difficulties for those with sensitivities to sensory or visual stimuli. The bathrooms were very small, and the location was crowded. For those with disabilities or who need accommodations, I would recommend going on a weeknight day-evening, and calling ahead to ensure needs are met.
Really good food. Sat outside on the patio. It was a little bit chilly and there are no heaters outside. But it was beautiful and the Ambiance was really nice. There were pretty string lights and lots of artistic details in the building and furniture to be looked at. I had the Birria tacos and split a pitcher of margaritas they were both delicious also had the queso super yummy as well. There was one experience in the past at the same location where there was a cockroach on the table (see photos) but I sent a message via Instagram to management and nothing has happened since then. I'm not even sure if it's been fully reported or if management is really aware. Pros and cons for sure. Great happy hour deals every week night though.
The best Mexican food I've got take out from so far in the Central Ohio area. Their chips and avocado dip which is also known as Guacamole is so delicious, very easy to find if your in Columbus I've eaten at about 5 other Mexican restaurants in this area since I moved here last February. My first Christmas in Central Ohio or being in Ohio again within the past 6 years. If you have kids their food is very pleasing to children because my son is a pretty picky eater, he didn't complain about his kids meal from this restaurant and ate the whole meal which he rarely does. They have amazing chicken fingers for kids, I tasted the and very tasty for the kids. I will be giving this place more business, they have very delicious fresh tasting salads too.
Went here for taco Tuesday and prices were good. I got my food to go and it came out quickly also. So when I got home and took a bite I seen a piece of hair on one of my tacos then I spit it out and there were multiple pieces of hair stuck in the chicken, I was DISGUSTED. I took the tacos back the next day and they asked did I want them remade or a credit, BUT I couldn’t understand why I would want to eat here again when hair was in my food. He eventually gave me my money back.
The food was alright, but the customer service was outright horrible. She forcefully said we ordered the wrong item when she wrote down the wrong item herself. All 8 people in our party heard the correct item, yet she refused.
Great place with good outdoor seating. Numerous drinks to try to enjoy with some Mexican food. The house special drink is an interesting tequila combination served in a bowl which is worth a try. Personally I enjoy the chimichanga which was excellent. Spacious outdoor seating and I believe they do have indoor seating as well but haven’t tried it. Service was fast and food was fast as well. The salsa offered with the chips was great. A variety of menu options to try but some are more better than others based on what’s put in them.
The Food Was Perfect…. Vibe Was Great!!! The Service And Staff Are Always Nice And Prompt. My Favorite Drink Is The Frozen Neon Margarita
Tried to go here after the buckeyes game today they refused to seat us OUTSIDE without masks on. We just came from the game & did not have masks they were selling them for $1 a piece with an attitude so we moved on to the next bar. This place probably missed out on a $200 tab for the 8 of us because they would not seat us even tho everyone else is sitting outside with no masks on. Bad management and uncommodadtaing DO KOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR FREEDOM AND COMMON SENSE THEY WILL NOT SEAT HOU OUTSIDE WITHOUT A MASK
The food is decent but the service is probably some of the worst I've ever experienced in a restaurant. The service is never "good" but on September 19th 2021 it was the worst I've experienced. I go in sit at the bar an easy able to watch almost a whole quarter of the Chargers vs Cowboys game before I was even acknowledged. No water, no menu, no silverware, no hello, no nothing.Then when finally assisted I wasn't eating here today so I explain the situation to the on shift manager who couldn't explain why no one acknowledged me and offered nothing more than oh I'm sorry.That's the one thing they got right... they are sorry.
