The food was really good! Best Alfredo in Columbus!! I’d recommend the penne with basil cream sauce!! The staff was so friendly. We will definitely be back.
We gave this tiny place a try on lunch at work and we were so glad. Their food is so good and who doesn't love a gelato bar? We have since had dinner here several times. I'm glad we gave it a chance!
usually we LOVE our food from here and were so excited to finally be able to go back tonight, but to say were disappointed is an understatement... not only was our food cold when we got home... and it's only a 10 minute drive and had never been cold before but it was cold cold....I mean like ice cold. we ordered 2 combo platters, the ravioli were barely cooked and the gnocchi wasn't much better. the only saving grace was the lasagna. the but working was great even chased me to my car because I didn't get a receipt and it printed out a reward that he wanted to be sure I got. this isn't going to stop us from returning but it's VERY disappointing
We love DaVinci. Real Italian food, gelato and pizza. This place has everything fresh made, their lasagna is my favorite. We have lunch here every time we have a pediatrician appointment ?
Really enjoyed our dinner here. It was the first time I'd gone. The owner and chefs were friendly and really working hard because of being unexpectedly short staffed. The food was delicious, as was the gelato!
The manager Brian is hands down amazing and one of the main reasons I love this place!
The chicken parm sandwich was very dry and not much cheese or sauce. I suspect they fry it in the same oil as their shrimp and/or calamari because I could taste a burned fishy flavor u less it's put on the microwave after a shrimp dish. The bread seemed stale. The chips were burned and bitter...very dark brown. Those should've been tossed out. The side salad was dripping in vinaigrette so the greens were sooo soggy. If you're going to give only one black olive, make it anything but a canned California type otherwise the salad would've been ok good. I highly doubt if any of this is fresh or home made. There is so much better out there at a better price and better quality ingredients.
This place is cute! The gelato is pretty good. Honestly, the food is “meh.” (Very oily pasta and underdone meat) It’s better than Fazzolis or Cheesecake Factory, but a chain like Bravo or Olive Garden have them beat. If you’re looking for really good authentic Italian this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for good gelato and fun, kitschy vibes this will be great place!
My family and l loved eating here. The food is exceptionally good and the service excellent. I couldn't recommend this place more.
The owner is very incompetent and rude. The way he talks to employees is very disrespectful. An employee also said they give the tips customers leave to the managers and cooks. So instead of paying proper wages to cooks and managers they take the tip money left for the already low paid customer service employees and redistribute it. The food has also gone down hill as they raise prices every month they continue to make less fresh food and opt for the cheaper frozen food. You’re much better off going to the 100 other Italian cuisine places in Columbus. Marcella’s is my favorite, it is owned and ran by people who actually know how to run a restaurant and the food is much more authentic and fresh. They also don’t serve cheap marked up wine from Kroger. The prices are also very comparable.
