So I take seasonal work and left Fl last week, visited KY (my home for a few days) and took off for my next seasonal gig yesterday morning which is up in Maine. I got lost in this town and drove around aimlessly for 45 minutes, after asking two locals for directions before stopping at this coffee shop on a whim, to ask, once again for directions. I'm 31, and when I walked in there was a young man and woman working, they were busy to be honest. I was about in tears when the young lady came up to wait on me. I explained the situation, how I was lost and just trying to find and alternative route when the young woman literally stopped what she was doing, walked me out to the sidewalk to show me the route I needed to continue my mapquest directions. She was so kind, patient and just, genuine. She was so sweet, and obviously knew I was exhausted and stressed and even offered me a free coffee. The place is phenomenal, the coffee was great, but honestly just that employees instinct to go out of her way to help a stranger in need, literally turned my entire day around. Whoever that young lady was, thank you for your generosity. And to whomever owns this shop, hands down you have thr most amazing employees. I will never go to another coffee shop besides this one in this town.
This cafe is so cute and has the best blended coffee drinks. The decor has a 1920s French theme (used to be called Hemingways Coffee Nook) so it's very comfy and inviting. It's a great place to chill and read a book or grab a delicious frozen Eiffel Tower latte for the road.
Loved my time at Cafe de Nook. They were so kind, helpful, and conversational and are so clearly invested in their patrons. They knew the names and orders of so many customers, including some who had apparently only been there a few times. Very pleasant and cozy decor as well and a great selection of teas and coffees. Didn't try and baked goods/food so can't comment on that front. Would certainly recommend and hope to be back!
The coffee and atmosphere is amazing. It is such a cozy coffee shop with such delicious and unique coffee selections. The owner was also very nice, helpful, and welcoming. Definitely coming back the next time I am in Columbus.
The most amazing local coffee shop. Small and sweet with amazing coffee every time. The owners are so lovely every time I go in and the Gertrude Stein (iced) is my go to drink. Faster than the drive thru line at Starbucks and way better when it comes to taste. I will always stop by on my way to work when I have to the time.
I loved this little cafe! You could tell the owner/barista new every single one of her customers and got to know new ones as well. She was extremely pleasant and helpful with my drink questions. I got a salted caramel peppermint latte with soy milk and was not disappointed. The perfect mix of sweet and salty!! This is a must visit cozy place for a chat, a solo trip, or to get work done (they have wifi).
This is my favorite coffee shop in Columbus! A small little hole in the wall shop, it being so small the owner is often there making pleasant conversation while providing excellent coffee. You want ever need to worry about seating, they even have outdoor seating facing the commons!I got the Gertrude Stein and may be the best damn latte I’ve had!
This coffee shop's atmosphere is adorable - the Parisian theme is infused in every corner. The staff is a delight. The coffee is pretty great, too! This is my go-to cafe when I am downtown. I highly recommend it!
The best coffee shop I have ever been to. Theresa and Charlie will remember your order after two visits and make sure you have the best experience every time. Love them!
This place is the perfect little hidden gem. So cute and cozy and had a great coffee selection and a few pastry selections to go with. Can highly recommend the naughty but nice holiday coffee she has! The owner was so kind, welcoming, and very helpful when I asked for recommendations around the area. Will definitely be returning!
