2 Stars because the Smoothie was good, But the service at the North Market Bubbles is horrible. The girl taking orders she doesn't talk, the one that gave me my drink just slammed it down in front of me. First time being here, I dont know how i feel about this location. I'll try another one.
I discovered Bubbles: The Tea & Juice Company at ComFest 50. After attending ComFest 50, my mom and I stopped by Bubbles: The Tea & Juice Company, a food stall that specializes in acai bowls, fruit smoothies, bubble teas, artisanal lemonades, and cold pressed organic juices in North Market. We had the Pineapple Tea with Mango Popping Ball and Mango Tea with Coconut Pineapple Jelly with less sugar. They served the purpose of a refreshing drink. However, there wasn't much of a tea flavor. It tasted like watered down sugar water.
Took over 10 minutes to get my drink and there was no one ahead of me. They didnt put boba in my drink either after i paid extra for them. 4 employees on the clock and only one is working at a snails pace.
Extremely unprofessional how the closing line was handled at the cheer competition this weekend. There were people standing in line for 40 minutes or so that had no clue that the store was going to stop service. They should have been notified with a sign or let know that there was going to be no more service after a certain customer. At least 100 people or so left very upset.
I placed my order, a simple small smoothie. You'd think a half-competent staff would be able to handle a one item order, right? Unfortunately no, I waited by the register as all the employees stood around and gossiped without beginning my order. After about five minutes, I was asked if I needed anything. Yes... I need you to make the order I just paid for. Honestly astonished the workers even knew how to operate a blender given their skill level.
I recommend the Mango and passion fruit bubble tea. Delicious. My friend also like the smoothies. I been here multiple times, never been disappointed
The tea was pretty bad and the boba didn't taste fresh.
If I could give a zero stars I would…we were at this particular location on 9/5/21 we ordered a mango tango smoothie, my other half ordered a honeydew milk tea and I ordered a taro milk tea…little to say the place was packed with about 7 people working there but the one making our drinks was supper slow and waited so long to receive our drinks with zero flavor, while making our drinks the cups were filled with ice and she them sit for mins, then she put about 5 bobas in each cup, which is awful will never waste a dime on this place again.
Delicious! Hit of the wedding! Joe went beyond the call of duty to make it happen. Forever grateful!
