Love this place! The baristas are so nice and know the menu well! I got the Coffee Creamsicle ($6.25) and the Sausage Breakfast Sandwich ($5.75). They were absolutely delicious. They make the best Breakfast Sandwiches! The decor is cute and they have a good pastry selection. This is also a great place to have a quick business meeting.
It was a Friday evening, and I was looking for a coffee shop. This place appeared in my search. So I popped in. I always love the coffee shop vibes, and this place has a cool vibe too. The barista guy was nice and smiling. I ordered my favorite iced mocha, and my mum got her usual drip coffee without sugar. The regular coffee was just regular, however the mocha was simply superlative. The coffee was aromatic, the chocolate was good, the sugar level was perfect. What else can I ask for! I do highly recommend the place for a good coffee.
Coffee wasn’t good. But even worse than the coffee — one of the employees was sitting on the table GROSS! If she wasnt an employee shame on them, because no employee told her to move. I can only guess that she didn't wash the table after she got up. The table is for eating not for backsides and feet ????
Spent eight years at OSU hopping around coffee shops, and can say that without competition Boston Stoker has the best drip coffee in the city. Lots of shops that make good pour over will have gross drip, but not here. Fast delicious coffee every time. Also don't sleep on the lemon latte during the warm months.
Nifty little place! Not super busy, so it's an excellent place to study and get good coffee fast. There's a gender neutral restroom, but the place doesn't go all out for pride month like many other local coffeeshops do. They also didn't take my name. So it's a place that won't call attention to your gender, basically, which can be nice.On a snobbier note, I got a plain oat milk latte like the pretentious barista I am. I'm guessing that all their latte sizes come with a double-shot of espresso. Either my shot pulled long or their espresso is on the mild side, because the espresso wasn't very acidic. More nutty. The subtler espresso would be better in a 6oz cappuccino or a flavored latte than what I got. The nuttiness pairs well with oatmilk, though. Overall, I wasn't particularly amazed or disappointed by my drink.
Had a really great pour over at Boston Stoker. Although the curb appeal in a strip mall made me pause, the vibe, coffee, and service was great. They had a wide range of their own beans, the barista was very knowledgeable (and made a quality pour over), and the tables/ambiance was chill. Highly recommend!
Part of our coffee stamp tour and definitely would come back here again in the future! Very friendly and helpful staff there! So they have a more thorough menu at the register which I think they should have it up on a board or something but that's fine.Got the Grogg (butterscotch caramel) and Milky Way (chocolate caramel) hot coffees and reduced it to half the sweetness as hubs and I don't got the super sweet tooth. Also got cream cheese crumb cake and the apple turnover. LOVED the crumb cake!! It was crumbly and melts in your mouth, not at all dry as some can be. Pricey but soooooo worth it! I really enjoyed the Grogg too and I'm glad they reduced the sweetness to a half.Staff was super awesome (as mentioned already) - they were really nice to let us bring our newly adopted dog with us inside while we ate before we went to the nearby parks.
Very solid, underrated coffee company. Great, consistent cups of coffee and lattes, and unique specialty drinks as well. I love the vibe of this place, it's more low-key than some of the coffee shops around Victorian Village/University District/Short north, but that's what makes it special. More old-school coffee shop, less bright colors and LED lights. Super friendly and patient baristas. They also have a cool selection of coffee gear (and cigars) for sale.
Great coffee.Good service.Great products to buy.A little pricey.I bought a cold mocha, hot mocha, cherry turnover, and a cool mug which cost over $40.
One of the most underrated coffee shops in Columbus, I think. If you get the right barista, the espresso is wonderfully pulled and their beans give their lattes a unique nuttiness. They also have a pretty good selection of coffee products - you know, coffee beans and different hardware in which to brew. Picked up a beanie from them a couple years ago and I still really like wearing it!
