My husband and I go to Blocks frequently and recently the location at North Market has gone down hill. They aren’t washing their produce so your sandwich tastes dirty. Today I ran my finger against the lettuce and I legit had black residue on my finger. I don’t write reviews usually however this has been the 5th occasion it’s happened. So disappointing considering it’s one of our favorites.
Apparently they all go to break at the same time, at 11am, even with customers in line. I would have just went somewhere else had I not been the first one in line, or knew that I'd be standing there for 45 minutes (the sign called this a "break"). Five employees just doing their own thing while they have a line of customers waiting. THEN, they proceeded to start working on FIVE door-dash orders before tending to the line going down the building. The food was just okay. You can see the sorry excuse for bacon on my sandwich. This was my second, and last time going here. Highly unprofessional.
Very good! I wish they had normal bacon as an option so I could get a BEC, but the pastrami and egg sandwich was very good. The jalapeños are a nice touch, the bagel is well-made: chewy, dense, shiny exterior.
so i went here the other day on a slow monday afternoon. there were three people working and none of them would acknowledge us when we were standing at the register waiting to order. when they finally took our order they acted annoyed despite our kindness and patience. they were also out of a lot of bagels which is fine, but they didn’t even bother to put the cream cheese on it. not my favorite blocks experience.
By far the worst customer service every time we go. The people are constantly playing on their phones, and even when there's a long line, they don't bother to acknowledge you or get off their Insta. The last two times I went, I gave up on even placing an order because they're so lazy. This is sad, because the bagels themselves are delicious.
Decent spot, I prefer the east side location. Staff was semi into taking care of customers and semi in their phones. Food was good as always but service could be improved on. Will definitely give it another shot!!
Horrible staff- Saturday morning worker in grey Boston sweatshirt, the worst. Waited 30 minutes for a bagel sandwich. PLEASE AVIOD HER. SHE IS THE CANCER OF THE SHIFT.Food was OK. But assume it is because of her issues. Good luck.
Bc it wasn't a real bagel. I mean it was a bagel but it wasn't a real bagel.
Got a few bagels to take home and was blown away by the everything bagel! It's SO good! Will definitely be back to buy more! Appreciated the friendly service as well! Thank you!
I’m going to be dreaming of and craving this bagel for weeks to come. The egg everything had an awesome amount of salt in the seasoning mix. Perfection.
