It's fresh, it's fast, it's healthy & it's delicious. Not to mention you get a lot of food for the money & free miso soup. We could use more healthy fast-casual restaurants like this in Columbus.
I give 3 start cus food is good. I just order through Grubhub from here a steak bowl. The portion cut in half and I order exactly the same as before. Not worth the price! Totally a rip off!!
As far as fast food goes, not many better than Bibibop. They have mastered the chipotle concept and refined it for the Asain palette. The sitting area is clean and not boring at least.
I went in and was helped by the most considerate and quick employee I've seen there, her name tag said Kayla and she proved to be very knowledgeable about the food and helped me decide what to eat! She made the experience wonderful, definitely will be returning.
I have visited BIBIBOP multiple times as it is close to OSU. However, as I became more of a frequent customer, I started to pick up on certain aspects of inaccessibility for this location for people with various developmental and physical disabilities. The first characteristic that I discovered to be possibly inaccessible for this location is the entrance to the restaurant. It can be difficult for people who struggle with mobility issues. If they take advantage of assistive technology to enter BIBIBOP, it may be impossible for them to enter without any assistance. The doors must be manually opened, and have pretty big handles and can be heavy and tall. This can be streneous for some individuals with particular handicaps since there are no automatic sliding doors or handicapped door opening buttons. Additionally, right when you enter the front doors, there is a flight of stairs that takes individuals to the area to order their food. There were no ramps or other entrances I saw available to the public to use if the main entryway was inaccessible, which also imposes an obstacle for people with physical disabilities. The seating area options are also limited for some individuals. There were a number of higher level stools and tables where some people may be unable to get in or remain seated at various locations around the restaurant. However, the process of ordering food seemed very accessible once you are able to get to that area! The menu was big and easy to read, and the signs listing the ingredients were a fair level and easy to read. The employees were super understanding and kind, and did not mind repeating themselves if I did not fully understand what they had to say. However, I did notice the music was very loud, which could make a person like me who has hearing loss difficult to interact with employees and other people. If this place was more accessible for people with disabilities and the general public, I would give this place 4 or 5 stars!
As I went to BIBIBOP the other day, I was noting the low accessibility they have for our community. Entrance is a must to have to be able to get into a place and to give the place business. Unfortunately, on High Street, BIBIBOP didn’t have the best accessibility as of entrance. At the front door, not only there’s no activated automatic doors with being very heavy to open, but there’s stairs that goes up to the next level where you order which loses the point of easy access. The second access to the building (on the side) still didn’t have a ramp and was stairs. If someone with a wheelchair came to the restaurant, they couldn’t get to the floor to get their food. Although there’s a table on the small first level before the stairs, it’s a high top. Not only the entrance is difficult and those tables on first floor are high tops, but someone with a wheelchair is unable to sit at their table to eat because BIBIBOP chairs are permanently built into the floor. The process of ordering the food (if you are able to access it), has a lot of space to move. The customers were kind and guided me through the food. Although I can see the food, I appreciated how at each section, they say the food out loud to you which can be helpful to those that have difficulties in seeing or blind. Again, with those in wheelchairs, the drinking fountain is too high to reach. The lighting was dimmed, but the music was way to loud and can over stimulate those in this environment. If BIBIBOP had a better entrance, I would’ve given a better rating.
Good stuff, fresh food. Nice staff
Bibibop is hands down my favorite place for fast casual food, not only in Columbus but quite honestly my favorite ever! The food is filling, healthy, and so well priced! The food is fantastic, and the staff is always INCREDIBLE! Shout out to my favorites Aleks, Marquise, and Yesi- they always make my day amazing! (:
Friendly staff and great food like always!
Delicious! Great service too. I got noodles with steak, Pineapple (up charge $1), cheese, red cabbage, and kale. Fresh ingredients and a healthy portion size. I had more than I could eat. The lemonade was divine.
