I wanted to like this brunch so bad I’m so disappointed!!! The food isn’t horrible but it isn’t good either my friend ordered a t bone they gave her a cheap cut of steak she had to ask for a discount.Cook was very rude to waitressesFood was not made the way we asked steak and bacon were over cooked and some of our food was served on paper platesMimosas we’re served in martini glasses I had to ask for champagne flute. We had to ask for eating utensils napkins syrup etc which is unacceptable because a customer should NEVER have to ask for these thingsThey are decent for a nice drink or maybe dinner but brunch is a hard NO
Beyond the Brix was a nice spot. I went at a time where the menu was limited. So I couldn't try everything I had heard about, but I was able to try the shrimp and grits. I would say they were good. I the sauce on them was very good I do wish there were more shrimp. The Junkyard Dog was my favorite thing, I would recommend it. I would rate it as a good spot to to try.
Food was delicious, service was great, DJ was a whole vibe. Loved it and will definitely be returning!
This place dope af. Great music by the DJ, the waitresses are beautiful and attentive. The overall ambiance of the spot was great. The French Toast was absolutely delicious and melted in my mouth. The scrambled eggs actually reminded me of my grandmas which was cool and confusing all at the same time. My girl got the bottomless mimosas and I'm pretty sure she enjoyed them because she's absolutely plastered right now.
Chicken and waffles were good. Got my order to go because I was told they closed at 1pm and I arrived minutes before, so presentation was nothing like pictured. Bar atmosphere with friendly staff, great mimosa, decent prices. Looking forward to eating in and actually taking in the atmosphere and other dishes so I can raise these stars.
Came here after seeing a Facebook post.The location alone makes it hard to find parking. The service was slow…very slow, my food didn’t arrive until over an hour of waiting. Very upset I paid $20 for a plate of shrimp and grits that was cold, tail still on most of the shrimps, and entire meal was very salty. I get the concept of this business, but the music is too loud… maybe hire more staff, and understand that bottomless mimosas for a table of (2) people should not require each person having to pay $20 for a picture of orange juice that you can barley taste the champagne in. $91 and some change later, I thought service, staff, and food would be better. I came with a guest and she picked this place…I’ll do the picking next time, not worth spending almost $100.
The Seafood Mac was delicious. Parking was tight, but we were able to luck out. I would suggest going at a non-busy time. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The music was a bit loud but the atmosphere was relaxed and very welcoming. They stuck to the menu. The picture of the Buns and Brew menu is outdated at this time (3/5/22).
Food was great but had to give 3 stars due to the length of time to get food and forgot part of my order, then had to wait again for a lengthy time to get that food ending up having to take to go. But Food and Drinks are great and great music.

Nice black owned restaurant. I came with a friend for Sunday brunch. The chicken and waffles was good. I liked the chicken more than the waffle. The bottomless mimosa was great but like most bottomless mimosas I couldn't taste much alcohol. Service was unfortunately slow for us but it seemed others didn't have that problem. The vibe was cool though. I'm happy I finally tried it.
