Absolutely horrible service. First off, there were no straws brought with our drinks. We were never asked if we wanted salad plates so we had to flag her down for that. The salad bar was not stocked at all. Then, we had to ask for our rice and tortillas that we told her to that we wanted when she brought our bowls to us. Then she was supposed to bring a serving spoon for the rice, never did. We just ended up using our forks. She walked past us multiple times to check up on her larger party. Not once did she check on us. Our drink refills weren’t even brought till the end of our meal. Despite this being one of my more favorite restaurants, we will not return to this location.
Disclaimer upfront, I've never been a fan just because I have demonstrated an inability to pick spices and oils and have it come out tasting yummy. The rest of my family does not have this problem.Lucky for me, I love their salad bar; a lot.Service was very good. The gluten free people had a great time as well. I brought my celiac family here because they often do not get much variety. Here, as long as they are careful what they choose, they can mix and match as much as they want. Well I am having a great time with the salad bar, they are having a great time choosing what they want to eat and a way that they don't usually have.
Staff was friendly and very helpful. The idea is you pick out the ingredients and give them to a chef to prepare and you can watch them cook it on the grill. The only problem is that there us no guide for you to go by so picking ingredients that flow well together and taste good us very difficult for me. I like to eat, but not very good at cooking. They need a guide to assist people and I think it would be wonderful. Not sure if I would eat there again.
I went to this place with my wife for lunch and we really enjoyed it they have a salad bar to choose about twenty different toppings from and there are different dressings to choose from to for your salad's. Then you also get to choose from different raw items from the buffet that you would like to eat and the chef's will cook it for you right in front of you and you can add rice or vegetable to go with it. They have many options to choose from so i will just name a few, beef, chicken, calamari, mussels, clams, you choose it and they will cook it for you. You can order a drink and it's unlimited refills on that drink but you have to go and fill it up yourself. The service was good and the food was even better. I hope this helps you out and you have a great day.
Not appeasing at all. I felt terrible that the manager had to take my plate but the sight of the food was ridiculous. They tell you to put raw meat in a bowl and mix with other ingredients. Not very sanitary in my eyes. They cook your food on the grills without cleaning the surface. I had onions peppers and chicken in My food and thats not what I put in my bowl. They need to be using dividers constantly. Definitely not worth the price. They did refund 3 meals and I tipped their waiter but they've got to step their game up.
Dine in reviews seemed good, but takeout seems to be another story. My partner and I each ordered build your own stir fry. His was okay, but did not include the sauce he requested… or any sauce for that matter. He said the egg roll was very good though! They specifically ask about dietary restrictions, which I have many, so I really appreciated that! I didn’t expect them to just conform to my restrictions, so I checked their website and only ordered things in my stir fry that fit with my restrictions. Still, I made sure to note to not add onions or garlic, just in case! When I picked it up, there was no sauce in it, on it, or just on the side (i just ordered soy). Very clearly no flavor of ginger, and no sesame seeds to be had. I also found some broccoli in my food (which wasn’t an option online, but not an allergy of mine). Additionally, after eating a decent amount I found onions. Overall the food was bland and honestly a bit overcooked.I want to be clear, besides the onions I don’t necessarily think this is the staff’s fault. It seems clear to me that their online ordering system is just a disaster. This isn’t to say anything about the dine-in experience, I just don’t suggest online ordering through their website.
Overall experience is what'd you'd expect. Price is somewhat high but justifiable in the sense you can make nearly 3 meals out of your one bowl with take home if you stack your bowl right. The noodles, being the base of the dish, would probably benefit greatly from an oil or fat as they tend to be served pretty dry. The imitation crab is a kind of iffy. However, the amount of meats, vegetables, sauces, and seasonings is awesome. It makes it so there truly is a dish everyone can create and enjoy. Pretty nice Alcoholic beverages. The soups at the Salad bar are usually amazing as well. I'd recommend every once in awhile.
I cannot say enough good things about the customer service at this restaurant! I cannot speak for all of the locations. But this one in particular, (Sawmill Rd) is in a league of its on in terms of friendliness, food preparation and overall positive dining experience! Love this place. I will continue to come several times a month!
We went today for lunch before heading to the zoo. The host pre apologized that they were busier than usual and that our server would be with us in a min. There were 3 other tables. That should have been the first red flag. Our server was nice but we had to ask for bowls to get our food and then our food was cooked before we even had our drinks. The food this time was terrible. The noodles were hard and the chef mixed all our food together. My son had broccoli in his dish but did not put that in his bowl. My husband's siracha chicken got mixed with my food to the point I was afraid to taste any more of the chicken after 2 bites because I was already getting heartburn. We ended up leaving and then stopping at McDonald's because no one ate their food.
I love the stir fried food here you make your own bowl your choices and your taste.
