Great experience. Our server, Olivia, was the best. I felt she really spoiled us. She was extremely patient in explaining how the ordering process work. There is off street parking on two sides of the building. The patio is delightful with coverings for most tables. There is a nice fire pit for chilly evenings. Interesting artwork. Bathrooms were clean tho ADA stall out of order. We tried this place during Columbus taco week. We ordered $2 tacos. El Vegano was the best and it was regular size!Only negative is taco shells become soggy if you take tacos home Still good but not crispy.
Stopped by during Columbus Taco week and tried all the $2 tacos which were delicious! Also tried the burnin thyme and spicy pineapple marg, both were light and refreshing. Love the vibe and fun artwork, customer service was excellent! Thr only thing I wasn't fond of was the salsa, it was more of a glaze consistency and has a sweet taste. But overall I'd reccommend it.
It’s no wonder why people think Taco Bell is Mexican food. Waited almost an hour to get a seat and about another hour to get our food. This food was freaking disgusting. Regulars at this place must not do a lot of traveling to know what a delicious taco should taste like. Just another disappointment in Ohio. Don’t waste your time or money.
Horrible restaurant, first the lady “forgot” to put us in the system so we had to wait an hour to be seated, after that we was constantly jumped over to serve other guest like if you’re carrying my food why are you talking to other guest about how they’re food taste? Lastly the food is terrible why are you tacos cold? This place will never have any of my money ever again
Service was great and everyone in my group loved their taco. The minced ground beef (in my non custom taco (steak, cheddar, etc) tasted and had texture of taco meat that was in our k-12 public school lunch tacos. Next time I'd probably go the custom taco route.
First time there. It was busy, appeared short staffed like everywhere. Like the create your own taco, but it appears you can't order everything to go. I ordered from what they gave me but when 8 asked why table next to me could order something on different menu she didn't know. I'll try again because food was good but I will want option of entire menu. Pic is trio of sauces. 1/2 full small containers for $5 each. Plain guac had hard pieces. Topped guac is same guac but toppings I could eat all day. Pineapple salsa good, but very little
Visited with a friend for lunch and sat at the bar. We were almost immediately brought water, chips and salsa which was a great start! We then ordered guacamole for our chips and a couple spicy margaritas. The margaritas were the perfect amount of heat and we both really liked them. We ordered our tacos (she had the Birria style and I created my own, one with the BBQ tofu which was AMAZING and the other with black beans and such). Our tacos came out and although the bartender forgot to ring in our guac, they were very apologetic and comped it although not necessary at all. The service was quick and everyone we came in contact with were very friendly. My only negative (although very minor) was the salsa. I prefer a chunkier style versus what they serve which is smooth like the taco sauce you get at a grocery store. I will definitely be back due to the great service and the many vegetarian options offered.
We ordered to go and the service was awesome! Tacos were amazing and on the spicy side. They have a custom menu and a special menu similar to Condado and their specials and brunch are amazing
I went to Barrio Tacos during Restaurant Week. After waiting 25 minutes in line we got to our tables, where our order was taken quickly and professionally!I ordered the Al Pastor Bowl, which for the cost, was too measly a portion! But thank god for the measly portion size. The pork was not seasoned. The meat was in no way, shape, or form was Al Pastor. The only thing common between Al Pastor, and the meat served was it was pork! There were too many pineapples chunks in the bowl. The whole bowl tasted like pineapples! Other toppings were added as aftertones, I'd rather get a pineapple and have that, and it will taste very similar to the bowl! The rice was overcooked and was too starchy! I paid all that money for chips and salsa which were decent.I got a Pomegranate margarita, and there was not a single hint of pomegranate in it. It was not even pomegranate inspired. Might as well have called it a cherry margarita, or an apple margarita cause it was red.Severely Disappointed! If I'm spending 25-30 dollars at a restaurant I expect the food to be brilliant and leave me wa wanting to come for more. Comparing it to other chain restaurants, I'd say Barrio Tacos is outclassed by most of them that I've had. Barrio does not hold a candle to small joints and food trucks, where for a third of the price, you get so much more flavour and a lot more quantity!I feel they should rename menu items so as to not falsely advertise what they have in their bowl and get people's hopes up.Barrio Tacos will not have me as a customer again!
If you are choosing between Barrio and Condado, do not choose Barrio. I recently ordered there and wanted a simple chicken taco, there were no options with just chicken, all options were beef, or included chorizo, and was unable to change the taco online, so I went in and I asked for no chorizo and received chorizo on both of my tacos. Wasted an entire taco box and, money, because both were made that way.Beside the limited option for non-beef eaters, the overall quality is just low in my opinion. I am still hungry and extremely disappointed writing this review.
