Popped in for a light snack and had some appetizers and a drink, Old-fashioned was eh the pretzels were good wings were good the sauerkraut balls were not as flavorful as I'd hoped but the place was nice service was speedy.
Obviously they have a selection of craft brewed beers. My favorite is the Scottish Ale, if you're looking for something darker try the 13th Guest Ale. The saurkraut balls are also worth getting.
"Smiley" was great! This was my first visit and the beef and cheddar was out of this world YUM! The ricotta cake was good too!
Overall the placed was very good. They were out of the Scottish Ale I wanted to order, but just unlucky on my part. I ordered the pierogis and sausage plate and was very pleased. Pretty good meal overall.
Nice selection of alcohol and tasty food. Had the pierogi's and would highly recommend them! Good service all around.
Stopped here while in town for work and I was very happy with the wings. Thought they were very flavorful and tender. Also, beer selection was pretty solid and really enjoyed the Bourbon Meyer Stout. Onion wings were pretty average, but nothing to complain about. Would go back.

The waiter put an extra charge on my credit card, I had to call my credit card company and have it removed as fraudulent activity. Just a heads up to anyone that visits this restaurant, be sure to check your statement!Wow the incredibly rude and sarcastic response from the owner is pathetic. Funny how we paid for all those drinks with a different card! Definitely will never return here, and I’ll be sure to share my experience with everyone I know!And the number you left is just the general number to reach the restaurant, and they wouldn’t let me speak to anyone in management. What a joke!
Only steps away from the Hampton Inn downtown. Overall a cool atmosphere. I had the pierogi and sausage Platter which was excellent but seemed a little pricey. Wasn't super impressed with any of the beers I had but they were still decent. I'd go back if I'm in the area. I wanted to check out the arcade upstairs but unfortunately there was a private party going on. Solid brewpub right in the heart of downtown so it's worth checking out.
It saddens me to write this review.....I have loved Barley's for at least 15 yrs and I can honestly say I will never be back....I understand COVID has cut items from restaurant menus but the menu is so small and everything that used to be amazing is below mediocre at best....next...the service by Tanyia tonight was absolutely dreadful.....we ordered our food and appetizer and everything came out at once even though I asked for my sauerkraut balls first....the food took forever to come to the table and she was not a very inviting person almost rude....our food comes and my order was completely wrong, cold fries...I asked for a few things to add to my burger and she acted so annoyed...the final straw was the brew master coming out from behind the bar after drinking with one of the customers and checking the taps and then blows his nose, wipes his nose and goes right back to the taps and touching things without even washing his habds...like I said I have love Barley's for a long time and I do not write this review from this one experience, this type of visit is three consecutive terrible meals and service....I hope things change soon but as for me and my wife it will be years before I waste my money for experiences like this
