I hadn't been here in forever, and this place was still soo good to dine at. The mozzarella sticks are still amazing and delicious. When I ordered my food, I did get the chicken tender meal with fries and broccoli but asked if the tenders could have that honey pepper sauce that had accompanied the tenders in a pasta dish. The waiter said yes, that it would be possible for them to do that. Those tenders were amazing. The sauce was absolutely the right choice being a very mild sweet and spicy mix. The tenders were cooked well. Of course the fries and broccoli were good too. We did go during a low volume period, around lunch.
It wasn't really busy but they are short staffed. The waitress Kim was really great and funny even though she worked a lot. The double breaded chicken with Asian sauce was good. Burbon chicken ordered medium rare came out well done. Ordered onion rings but fries instead. The baby back ribs were good
Quality of the food was great. Service was fantastic. Shout out to Kim, she's doing anamazing job. Faster service with just her than with a whole crew. You're doing an awesome job!
We waited 10 minutes for someone to speak to us at the entrance.The place was empty, and they said the wait time would be 30 minutes! I really liked this place a lot, but lately it's been leaving a lot to be desired.
Service was ok. I had the Cajun Salmon entree with the side of double crunchy shrimp. The salmon was good but the broccoli was so salty and mushy I couldn’t eat it. I’d have asked for a replacement but I had already sent back the shrimp as it was gooey instead of crunchy. The replacement was hot and crunchy.
I have only once left a negative review for Speedway but this must be told. Mainly because of the extent of the incompetence poor attitude & lack of care/customer service. I'm on a low sodium diet. The broccoli is always too salty there. I asked the bartender politely for no salt on mine. She insisted this was impossible due to how the broccoli comes or is prepared. I worked in food service most of my teen life and I knew this was not true & she was just being lazy or difficult. Or just didn't know how to enter no salt in the computer. & didn't care enough to just walk back & tell the cook no salt. I knew what she was telling me was not accurate. When served of course the broccoli was too salty. When I asked the manager about what the bar tender insisted he said the broccoli was not mandatory salty. Bar tender noticed me speaking to the manager and became all confrontational with a attitude as I returned to the bar telling me I can leave. I didn't. And shortly after I was provided with a MAGICAL cup of unsalted broccoli. I'm a nonconfrontational good tipping (25%) customer usually. This whole negative interaction and lack of care/poor attitude made the rest of my whole dinner uncomfortable/unpleasant. I've been eating at Applebees all my adult live but will never be able to comfortably eat at this one while Shelby C is working there. I'm pretty sure she trash talked me the whole time to other customers while I finished my impossible cup of no salt broccoli.
If I could give this place a 0 I definitely would..... Walked in this evening, there was no cars in parking lot but maybe 10 it wasn't filled up. Walked in and said two for a table. And there was plenty of seating available and the lady said it would be a 20 minute wait. Like why are we waiting? Many tables available.
Started off a little bit rough, staff working the front was rude but our waitress was amazing! NANCY was amazing! So nice and light hearted! Made the experience great! Food is what you would expect but it was Nancy that made it ?. Ask for her section you won't be disappointed!
Applebee’s is getting real bad here lately. Uncooked food is really bad. I can understand they’re being a employee shortage. But my goodness hire someone that at least knows how to cook.
Food and service was great. The food preparation at the Polaris Applebee's was much better the the one at Easton. Will be going to the Polaris one more now.
