In town for a couple nights and was surprised to see a place with a 4.8 review, that’s really high praise. In actuality it is incorrect, it’s a 5+. Great food, great staff, great cocktails! We had the double burger, tacos, hush puppies and everything was really excellent!Beer selection is top notch as well. You won’t be able to feel your feet when you leave it is so good!

Fries were seasoned well and crispy! Meatball sub was phenomenal. Meat was very good and the bread was toasted perfectly. Service was great.

Addella’s On Oak is our go-to neighborhood spot! The food is fantastic, the staff is awesome, and the atmosphere is top notch! My partner and I celebrated our wedding by hosting our rehearsal dinner at Addella’s, and we could not have asked for a more perfect evening! Karrio and his team ensured the evening was beyond perfect. Our friends and family haven’t stopped talking about the great time they had. Thank you!! Cheers to our neighborhood spot!

I found this place just scrolling through a list of black owned restaurants. It's small and tucked away. The ladies who served us were friendly, the food came out ina timely manner. After 10 it kind of turned into a club with a live dj. The prices are fair and the food is worth what you pay. Also they have a plant based version of most of the meat items they serve. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is because the bar area where we sat against the window wasn't wiped down, there was a sauce stain at the seat next to me. Overall though it was great and I'm looking forward to going again!

I was in restaurant yesterday 3/14/2022 and it started off wrong as soon as me and my two friends entered the door. We sat at a table and nobody ever came over to greet or take our orders. My friend had to go up to the bar just to get our order in. Other people came in after us and we watched how the guy behind the bar came from around bar and went to their tables and took their orders. We didn't get that same treatment at all. Then our drinks were made in dirty glasses and not one time after all this did the same bar worker ever come out to ask us if we wanted anything else or another drink. He seemed upset that we pointed out that we had a dirty glass and he had to replace the drink. The tone, vibe was clear as soon as we entered and although I don't like to make race a factor in all things but we were three black men. How could we not sit there and see how he interacted with everyone else that was white in the restaurant. Even after the bad service we still were good customers and expressed good character by leaving him a tip that he clearly didn't deserve not even a penny.. This was my second time going there and I will not ever return here again. Bad service and bad cooking because the first time I ever entered the business I ordered a meatball sub and the inside of the meatballs were not properly cooked. Two bad experiences and it won't be a third. I live around the corner from the spot and wanted to give it a chance and support a business locally in my neighborhood and this treatment is what I got. Bad bad bad

The wife and I had been meaning to visit Addella's on Oak for some time now. Knowing one of the owners made this even more of a "thing to do". Initial thoughts, we absolutely loved the quirkiness of the spot. The art on the walls fits the area and the music made the experience perfect! If I am not mistaken, the entire menu is plant based which is a new experience for us. The food was terrific! I was pleasantly surprised as I was not sure what to expect. Perfectly seasoned and flavorful. I got the double crunch tacos and my wife had the chik'n corn caesar bowl. Oh but let's not forget the Joe Dip as the starter. The portions were generous, so that was a plus as we were not sure how full we would get. Mission accomplished! I also ordered the bourbon berry drink which was pretty solid. If you are a fan of 90s hip hop and r&b, this is yet another reason to love Addella's on Oak! While this is truly a restaurant, the vibe is exciting and reminiscent of an era of music that we are very fond of. So if you want a bite to eat or have a drink and listen to some music, Addella's on Oak has what you need! If you are in Columbus and looking for something to do, you may want to consider Addella's on Oak!

First time stopping here. Very good double burger and buffalo chicken sub. Have plant based menu that mirrors the meat based for those so inclined. They do have liquor now and the Cbus Sour was also good. The dipping sauce they use is awesome. It's close to our house so we'll be back. A good choice if you want to support a small local restaurant during these crazy times.

Super tasty food. Chill atmosphere. Friendly service.

After visit to Franklin Conservatory, we put in search for restaurant near by & found Addella’s. We were in Columbus visiting with our young adult that has a vegan diet, myself vegetarian & son that is picky eater, husband carnivore. This menu was a hit for all of us. We all loved our chosen dishes, loved the service & the casual, laid back atmosphere.☮️ Highly recommend to look up when in the area.

Nice little place on Oak St, cozy atmosphere. I had one of their bowls with grilled chicken and a bunch of other flavorful items incl corn, chopped red onions, roasted red peppers, black beans, etc. I thought it was excellent--such a diverse array of flavors that all worked well together.
