Nice neighborhood spot. Limited noodle menu, but not lacking. Good selection of beverages. Chose the Wonton Ramen and was not disappointed. Flavourful broth, lots of veg and noodles. Plump dumplings added to the fun. Already planning a return visit with family in tow.
The pulled pork bao was ok, but way too much sauce. The ramen was actually terrible. I'm not sure if they use homemade or canned menma but the smell was unbearable. It smelled like a port-a-potty... both my boyfriend and took 1 bite and when the server asked how everything was we explained that it tasted off. She offered togo boxes and I explained that I'm sorry, the ramen was terrible. She just said sorry and didn't offer to give us a menu to order something else or to take the ramen off the bill. Seems like a common theme from the reviews that management makes you pay for food you didn't enjoy or even eat.
Rather outstanding quality food. For the price this restaurant delivers quality food far beyond their price point. The ramen was excellent and the appetizers were delicious. The service was very attentive and the food came out hot and quickly.Seating is spread out in the dining area and the open kitchen is very clean and organized.Don’t forget to pull the door closed behind you as it otherwise stays open and with no actual vestibule it brings in the cold winter air streaming in rather quickly (much to the dismay of those sitting near the door.).This is certainly a worthy contender for one of CLEs authentic ramen shops.
love this spot. tried it on a drive home from new york. the food, as well as the service, is some of the best i’ve ever had. our server was an absolute sweetheart and was kind and patient despite being the only person serving ~30 people on a busy saturday. A+++ ❤️❤️❤️
Been here many times and it's always amazing. Definitely get the Korean Fried chicken, it's more addictive than crack.
I always laugh when people say if I could give zero stars I would but I'm now part of that club and seriously believe I would give none if possible. But I need to warn the people that this place is terrible. I got the Regular Miso noodles and let me tell you I would of thought I had COVID symptoms after trying this mess of a bowl. It literally tasted like nothing no seasoning straight water and boiled noodles. I could only eat about two spoon fulls and just decided I couldn't do it. My bf felt bad and he gave his black garlic one which at least had flavor but not great. Had a server come up and ask if it was okay and I instantly blurred out "I'm sorry but no these noodles do not taste well." The server apologized and took the bowl. However, before he left we asked if there's anyway this could be taken off because the bowl was pretty much intact I didn't not eat it other than a spoon. They said they would talk to the manager. The manager came out all crazy saying she cannot comp the noodles because we didn't show the chef that he made my noodles wrong...... show him what?!?!? The bowl looked fine it just tasted terrible. And I wasn't going to wait for him to remake it when it had originally (not lying) took them one hour to make it!! She said that when we come back she will take care of us. Jokes on both of us because we are never coming back.
Wow, just wow. Everything we had our table was great. All the appetizers were outstanding, anything with chicken and it was crispy and delicious. The soups with noodles were outstanding. A little on the pricey side, but worth it for the quality.
This was my first time at a noodle bar and it was very interesting and detailed in culture and appearance with a Cleveland touch of home. The food was very well prepared and quick turn around with our orders. The service was really nice and the entire staff is pleasant. We went with a friend who was a regular, so we got a little more info than normal. Overall would definitely recommend. P.S. listen when told how spicy the hot soup is. Definitely a hot dish.
A MUST go to place beautiful clean modern decor and high quality food prepared exceptionally. Broth and noodles divine. Excellent sake collection and cocktails. Phenomenal service. Will be back!!
Very satisfying and flavorful. Had chicken wings and a bowl of black garlic tonkotsu Ramen with a poached egg.
