Fun place. Lots of games to play from duck pin bowling to the basketball arcade game to classic bar billiards. The self serve tap is a fun take and allows to sample several different beers (all charged to a prepaid card, but still fun and different). Decent selection of beers.Food was good bar food. Student discount available for food. I got their philly cheesesteak option and replaced the meat with a chopped up veggie patty. It was excellent and made better with their carolina bbq sauce.
Wow!I'm an out-of-towner visiting from Central PaThis place is a bit of a gem tucked in the theater district!More than worth the drive in!
Wild Eagle Downtown is a cool, gritty place with a great atmosphere. We had a company party in the upper space which was equipped with pool tables as well as Duck Pin bowling machines. The food was good, hot and timely. I can't say enough about the staff from bartenders, to cooks to food runners and the management team - they all helped us when we needed something and were excellent to work with. My team enjoyed the party and it went off without any issues! The band was awesome as well!
Parties of 2 apparently not welcome/not worth their time? Came in with a positive outlook hoping for some good food. Especially Mac & Cheese & drinks during “Mac & Cheese week”…We got an appetizer and drinks, and then we were just totally ignored by the server. No, it was not busy. It was a rainy Monday Evening well past happy hour. The restaurant was filled at most to 25% capacity. We were left alone for 20+ minutes as server walked past us NUMEROUS times. I was actually surprised the 4th time he walked by and said nothing, and then a couple more times. We decided to eat someplace else. When we tried to pay off our tab, the server attempted to overcharge us. He tried to play it off as an innocent mistake, but his demeanor showed his intentions.
Loved this place. Was in town for a concert stopped in just for a drink ended up staying for dinner. Cowboy candy is great. We ended up back here after the concert too. Owen and Tess were great.
My husband and I had dinner here and played some games. Service was pretty slow but our food was tasty and my husband enjoyed pouring himself his own beers from their big selection of taps on the walls. We played duck pin bowling which was fun ($6 per game per person is a bit pricey though) and there were other games and pool tables available. We returned later that night to listen to a cover band (Tricky Dick, which was really good). It's a fun place/dive bar.
I held a private event at the Wild Eagle in Downtown Cleveland over the weekend. Everything (food, drinks, music, etc.) was great, and all my guests said they had an awesome time! I had over 150 guests and have limited experience in planning anything like this; however, Megan and the rest of the staff were very helpful and were able to organize quite the celebration. 5/5 - Would recommend to anyone! - Johnny Schnee
This review is long overdue! We just love the Wild Eagle Saloon... the staff is incredibly friendly, the food delicious, and such a fun environment! Our office has used the Saloon for events in the past, and Megan & her event planning team are amazing! Impeccable attention to detail, flexible, so easy to work with, and I was left nothing to worry about! They took care of everything. And even when COVID wreaked havoc on our plans, Megan & team were there to save the day. Thanks Wild Eagle Saloon - we'll be back!
